tat day i questioned about s-off thingy,now i m on CM7 and wanna revert bec to stock rom (1.32 rooted rom) to eng s-off my device.my questions are,i juz go to rom manager and choose restore backup?and after i had revert bec to stock rom,after eng s-off,am i able to restore bec my current CM7 rom?thx guys...

Question oh Si Fus on Backing up before flashing ROM. If i back up everything with My Backup Pro, Do i still need to do the Nandroid backup using ROM manager? Came across those instructions when i was doing research. I can't use it, i vet the hp picture with a red asterik in red triangle. heart alsmot stopped

Nope, you need to flash the Stock ROM first and then you S-On back your phone to make it fully on stock

Backup your current ROM (CM7) and then you restore back your Stock ROM from ROM Manager / CWM, after that you do the ENG S-Off thingy, done that, you can restore back your CM7

This one i dunno but iinm, got others encounter the same problem before..maybe can ask those on stock to help you

MyBackup only backup your DATA/SETTING/APPS BUT NOT THE ROM ITSELF, Nandroid Backup by means you are doing your WHOLE SYSTEM backup (this include ROM + DATA + APPS)...as for the RED TRIANGLE thingy, done rooting your phone??

I believe red triangle is because you still not flash custom recovery... Did you done that..? You need at least Radio S-Off to install custom recovery...

FP never been update... TS is M.I.A right now... it is better if you go to XDA and get the latest one... If you want froyo DL the 3.7... want to taste gingerbread get 5.X

What Astu said is right, i think you forgot to flash the ClockWorkMod Recovery, the reason why you got that red triangle

If you just need to update google map... no need go for a full rom download... Use apps like market enabler or market access to enable paid/protected apps on market... then you can download normally from market...
