Sebaliknya, Astro perlu mencontohi langkah yang diambil kerajaan yang tidak menaikkan harga bahan api terbeban demi kepentingan rakyat.

"Jika kerajaan boleh tangguh kenaikan harga, kenapa Astro tidak tunjuk rasa terima kasih kerana dapat monopoli, tangguh kenaikan harga yang ingin dibuat.

"Pulangan daripada yuran langganan saya sudah cukup untuk menampung kos operasi. Apa yang mereka mahu adalah untuk tambah keuntungan, bukan untuk tampung kos operasi," katanya lagi

Indeed it is. BTW, since Unifi got MTVN HD, what would Astro do to rival it? Astro Hitz HD?

I wish Astro would launch Discovery HD World, ASSP 2 HD & Sundance Channel HD on 1st July, instead of 11th July. brows.gif

Dr Rais was commenting on the complaints, especially from those who don't subscribe to Astro, who could not watch the Malaysia Games (Sukma) held in Kuala Lumpur this year,

"We want to implement the new policy and under the licence issued by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), we will change this situation.

"In other words, there will be no more monopoly," he said. - Bernama.

Even from 2m feel like not HD much. If their bitrate was at 7-8mbps, it should be higher for motion video. Like at 10-11mbps.
