I've applied because the offer sounds really good, I can't seem to find the catch though other than the spending required to get the phone.

HTC Desire 210 Smartphone

That's the smartphone, not the tablet. The tablet is the Huawei Youth2.. No mentioned which model specifically (if Youth2 got differentiated by things like wifi/non wifi/ GBs, etc...)

From what I read the T&C, there are no requirement use any cent, will get free tablet once care approved.
Correct me if I miss out anything.....  sweat.gif

If want to get the HTC smartphone, then that's another story  rolleyes.gif

Correct. Apparently no catch other than must apply via the ringgitplus.com site, the tablet is given out by ringgitplus themselves not HSBC.

The smartphone is from HSBC and is more like first-come-first-serve basis.

I spoke to the HSBC lady that processed my application, she said the code will be send between 2-4 weeks starting from the activation date, not approval date. So you might want to clarify on this.

After the code is submitted, ringgitplus.com will take another 2-4 weeks to send the tablet.

By the way, is the tablet good? rolleyes.gif

It's a Huawei Youth2 8GB.

So far, minimal lag and storage itself is quite small after some normal app / OS installations. But there is a external microSD slot so thats decent.

For light use, I think the weight and size is great.
