I am waiting cerruti watch as well. When I applied, the agent also promised SURE get huawei tablet ( before promotion period ended by 27/8/14) upon spending rm1.5k. I applied thru MV booth before 27/8.

then my card was approved after 27/8 , receive card on 30/8/14 , started spent in 20 days up to 1.7k. called to CS atleast 5 persons told me different stories, said my promotion gift was huawei tab .. then some said my card approved after huawei tab period and I was not eligible for it and I supposed into cerruti gift promo .. whatsoever craps...

called again in early oct said the cerruti promo extended ... when recently the promo ended finally ( now is htc desire ), they said no result announce yet ... rather confusing... feel being conned.. ==" and the RM50 cash back never reflected in my 2nd month statement

You are right.

The CS told me that they will only select the eligible cardholders 30 days after 7 Oct 2014, last card approved . I supposed this means that before the period extended, there was less than 2,500 eligible cardholders to get the gift ( first come first serve basis) , so they extended, correct me if I am wrong.

I just feel meh ...

yes, I just called CS , said >3k winners in first batch yet I was not in the list zzz .... I got the card as early as the campaign launched and spent within the period yet I was not given the gift... and they extended the period instead .. I feel like conned ...

card approved letter date on 29 aug .

received card between 1-3 sep , cant recall.

1st swipe on 5 sep , spent > RM 1.5k on 9 Sep.

anyway when I called after end of the former campaign date, they said the campaign period has extended , cant recall what was the date, if this is first come first serve basis, why extended if there were already 1st 2500 cardholder eligible ? which I supposed I am eligible.

worse comes to worse if I didnt get the watch, when I applied this card in huawei tab promo period, the salesman at midvalley booth guarantee I sure will get the huawei tab too... I feel so bad

1st time I experienced this. ocbc and citibank no problem, got the free gift and cash back instantly after I fulfilled the criteria. Up to date , I haven't see the rm50 cash back in my latest statement (3rdmonth) .

I will just log a complain report to marketing if I didn't receive the gift and cancel the card.

just called cs , being told that I am not eligible for rm50 cash back n the watch. it is first come first serve, I saw some of the replies above got the card only third week in Sept where I already spent more than 1.5krm above on that period yet I am not eligible ? what should I do ? I really unhappy with it. want to cancel this card and complaint the sales agent.
