Got a pleasant surprise from HSBC recently.

Back in June I bought a new set of coilovers for my car. The shop didn't have their own CC terminal but the owner have made arrangements with the travel agency a few doors away for CC payments, but with a high 3% surcharge. I agreed, however.

Many days later I saw the following on my recent transactions via HSBC online..

I didn't even know how I got this 'welcome travel cashback' so I searched on the net and found out that they are running a travel campaign. rclxms.gif
No idea how I got the additional 'travel spend' RM25 much later though.
The 3% surcharge was RM80 or thereabouts.. thank god I accepted it. laugh.gif
