As far as I know, HSBC Credit card is one the lousy credit card in the market in term of rewards, points, cash back...etc

very agree with u, all their promo need to read tnc carefully and just to find out the cashback is on first come first serve basis, im thinking to change to other ccard

just read the promo, actually it is not a fraud just as usual the tnc is very complicated, u need to spend minimum rm500 per week to be eligible for the cashback but the cashback amount is calculated only on petrol, grocery and shopping from all the spending, let say u spend a total of rm500 a week consist of rm300 on travel but the other rm200 on petrol u are eligible for cashback but u just stand to receive cashback from the petrol transaction only, i lol at the tnc, so who want to participate must have much time to spend on certain period to get max cashback, lousy promo, mcm main main saja mau bagi cashback

Also note that the MPower Visa is not eligible for a lot of the Smart Privileges and Home N Away  promotions. One that comes to mind is the discount for Agoda.

I don't know where u get those information, but im amanah card holder so far no problem, i got all the priveleges that mentioned in their smart privileges booklet and home and away promotion,, but for oversea privileges i don't know but i think no problem just can't do non halal transaction only and no compounding interest on outstanding balance, else same like conventional ccard

It's applicable for all hotels in Agoda. And as Gen-X said, you must access the Agoda website via HSBC Home&Away landing page or else you won't get any discount. And your HSBC Amanah issued credit card is entitled for all Home&Away privileges and this includes the Agoda discount  smile.gif
