yeah.. just put on sdcard and then install from there..
after that just reboot ur phone 2 time..
and then the 3rd time reboot press Vol Down when blue light.
to enter into recovery mode.
follow guide on next item to do.

Freezing motoblur or any system apps. But be cautions a wrong step/freezing apps could put your phone from working properly to a dead candy bar.
Using RootExplorer (required root).
1) Goto System/app
2) press read/write on top right corner button to gain full rights
3) look for apps you would like them to stop from your phone.
4) Rename the app you would like to stop... eg: CarDock.apk to CarDock.rem
5) Go on look another app if you have more than one app to stop from running.
6) Exit and that's it.
7) A quick reboot would be good to refresh your phone.

This method doesn't required you to uninstall apps as you might one day need it back.
In case you need them back, just rename back the rem back to apk and restart your phone to get the app run again.

Yea Motorola more popular in Europe and America but not so much in Asia. Can't say dual core is much better but surely can see the differences while browsing and multitasking. Perhaps when they port ps2 emulator then can show dual core true power. But then again quad core coming early next year, waiting for Motorola Bullet by then kekeke

Well, comparing with Defy speed with Dual Core .. sure dual core more advantage lah.

I don't have Atrix but I got Asus Transformer with same processor ^^.

But overall Motorola really done a great job for Defy. From price, spec, built quality, and funs we can have with "water resistant" ... u guys sure agree with me

1. just install 2nd init 1.4 and follow its instruction step by step as the apps ask.
( disable USB Debugging and reboot 2 times.)
Newer 2nd Init no need reboot, but i stil using 1.4 coz other version not always work for me 

2. then just do as below

3. Boot into Custom BootMenu by pressing volume down when device flashes a blue led at bootup. Set default boot mode to 2nd init.
4. Select Recovery, Custom Recovery. Choose "Wipe Data/Cache" option. Let finish.
5. Choose Install .zip from SD Card, select the MIUI roms .zip and let it finish.
6. Let the rom boot for first time.
7. Done! Enjoy!

salim, I cannot see set default boot to 2nd init, only reboot system,apply sd card, wipe data and chache

help i cannot find miui rom reboot get stuck at moto logo!!

try wait for 6-7 min 1st.
if still cant after 10min,
just pull out battery, press Vol Down+ power
and wipe data/reset
try again

power sia,  miui get 1974 on quadrant benchmark much better than ass stock rom.

try capture text on paper by moving ur phone closer and farther. if autofocus is ok, ur text is sharp

i have successfully flashed without problems (yet) to miui 1.6.17. it is indeed a nice n pretty different rom from the one i used previously, kinda cannot adpt to it at 1st but it was excitting exploring around n it has got its own miui market of themes.

if u r having force close issues from this rom, probably u have flashed the chinese version which i did from xda too, but after i tried flashing it over again provided by miui-us fully english converted, it works without force close so far.
