Different ROMS got different method. Some use nandroid + fixed sbf and some use ZIP. So u have to see which 1 u use.

well, if you wanna forget about the SEA ones, then might as well flash full direct to 3.4.3-11?

hehe, actually no need lah, but go to Jboogies LiquidArc/BlurGinger and download all the stuffs from there and follow the instructions.

Hi guys, it seems I fuc... up my defy. Was trying to install Dsp manager but forgot to change the wrights of audiolibflingers into rw--r--r--, and rebooted. I got stuck at M logo and can't get into recovery mode only boot loader mode. Anybody have any idea what my options are. If can you please let me know? I was running LiquidArc of jboogie. Thanks in advance.

as i know so far .. all can read chinese, but to write .. just install something like google pinyin will do nod.gif

Yeah tried few times. mega_shok.gif Can get only into boot loader mode. If I try recovery get the M logo. You said full flash. Witch one should I take. Eclair or Froyo? And I assume it should be the original one? rclxub.gif

I think you have to full flash. Same problem as me last time. I think i forgot to backup. If full flash then you lose downgradability.

btw, just got myself a "Pendrive" brand 16GB Class 4 MicroSD.

Class 6 seem like hard to find now and class 10 really .... price sky high ><.

it's written on the packaging. the higher the class, the faster the transfer speed, but no point really get so high la. class 4 is enough, and class 6 is ok if you dont mind the premium. class 10 is overkill imho.

i reli noticed custom roms comes with different flash methods, some got so many steps... i bettter go for the easier ones like blurginger...

i can honestly say, liquidarc has the least downloads and least steps to follow, meaning less chance of cocking up!!
