UMobile HLR is down at the moment... From what I heard, Huawei is not going to support this failure due to they are going to replaced by ZTE...

Added on October 31, 2011, 3:16 pmGotta wait for sometime, Huawei engineer just about to login to check the issue... sigh....

its a combination of issue

1) I wonder did they pay for support contract?
2) Did they overloaded the HLR (Customer Database)?

i want to share my xp with umobile. i was about to sign up for a prepaid blackberry from umobile for my wife. i went to the seremban center. do the mobile number portability from hotlink to umobile. i was told that i need to wait at least 2 working days. since it was tuesday, so ive waited till friday, still got the maxis line. in the mean time, i already bought rm50 topup ticket for umobile, to activate the prepaid bb once the sim activated. the next monday, i sent an email to umobile, asking for explanation. no reply. on the next day, i send another mail. this time around, got reply, saying that the problem have been escalated for further investigation. i was so pissed off.. i sent another mail, cancelling the mnp. only small telco, less users, but the service was terrible.. on that saturday, went to celcom center seremban, mnp the hotlink number to xpax. just after 3pm on the same day, the xpax activated.. activate the prepaid bb for rm25/month, no regret.. i can even get 3g speed on the device. all services are usable.. really satisfied.. moral of the story, u buy peanut, u get monkey... go for the reliable one.. i will not go for umobile anymore..

ps:anybody wants to buy my rm50 topup ticket? im selling it off for rm35.. smile.gif
