that is ur procs fsb setting.. other than that plz spent a little time to explore this first..
overclocking cant be simply done in one single day..

Do you have the hybrid Booster in the Bios?I look in the Asrock webpage mentioning hybrid Booster, guess that is ur OC option.
You need to OC the FSB.

just bought cheap mobo.. it's MSI PM8M-V... overclocked my 2.8 to 3.06.. if goes higher then pc cannot start.. ram using 512mb kvr running at 219fsb.. how to OC more? the mobo max can go 240fsbx14multiplier.. means 3.3Ghz max?

mayb ram limiting u .. correct me if im wrong ..

It seem ur mobo cant be push higher. MicroATX-type mobo usually don't have any OC function such as vdimm and vcore setting. By adjusting these setting, ur can push ur proc and RAM FSB more. Please correct me if I'm wrong

Ohww... you MUST play with those setting lor.. otherwise ur cant OC to higher.. About RAM timing, usually you need to loose ur RAM timing by increasing some value at ur mobo Timing setting to achieve higher OC. Playing with timing setting also depending on ur RAM chipset.

me using 512mb KVR .. wat timing is the best ar?

not the amount that important .. its the chip itself on the ram that can make u push more..correct me if im wrong ..

Fuzzy logic seem to be more accurate.... insane voltage that showed by CPU-Z will burn ur computer

About the timing, try this 2-3-3-5. This timing increase RAM read speed but lowered RAM write speed. But it really nice timings.

with that kind of voltage .. ur proc already burn man ..

Noob at OC ma.. dunno anything.. btw, 2.8 @ 3.08 also not stable leh playing warcraft 3 got fatal error or jump to desktop... 200mhz increment oni.. this mobo real sux..

get a better mobo n ram dude .. me also got a msi chepo board .. oc 2.4@3.0 n the board kong after i ran folding 24/7 at full load for about 3 months

ram is limiting me .. using kvr 512 + 256 = rojak .. so the ram max out at 170mhz ..

looking for rams when i got some money .. n im still n00b at 0c ..

but tat time really need to use pc edi.. no choice lor.. simply bought dis cheapo mobo.. the oni stock available in the market..

Btw, my fuzzy logic cannot change the fsb in windows lar.. can oni set to auto find the right fsb oni.. this cheap mobo.. if cannot run at the fsb i set in bios.. it won't auto-reset the fsb back to previous de... hav to reset whole bios settings myself using the mobo's switch.. haiz..

My PSU max is 220w oni.. does it has anything to do?

both of the stick 512 and 256 is ddr333?...
if any of them is ddr400, just use that one stick to push ur procs first..
at least u'll knw the max potential for ur procs..

har? dunno.. it is written there PSC.

put the timing to 3-4-4-8.. put ur VDimm to 2.8V..
raise ur fsb again.. try it first..

aiya.. cannot snap pic of bios screen somemore.. if not i can show u my oc screen.. lousy wan.. is like FSB/AGP/PCI .. then 200/50/50 , 210/55/55 .. < something like dat... fsb multiply by 14..

if u cant change VDimm ignore them, just change the timing...
u need to lock that agp and pci frequency first..
explore ur bios more on hw to do that..
the multiplier is the depends on ur procs..
and most of intel procs is multiplier locked..
so ur multiplier dun have any prob..

just noticed that u board using VIA chipset and it doesnt have AGP/PCI lock feat....
this is the factor that limited ur oc..
