Added on May 13, 2011, 12:24 pmTried the Camera Zoom FX, the video mode is actually called from the apps, but still using the default one. I've recorded through 4 minutes plus.. and it still lag/stutter but just a bit, better than loading default video camera directly.

Bro, my battery finally back to normal after tried your method, now warning message will pop up at 15% and i can continue use it until 1%. Thanks.

Finally, the lag is gone, 2 videos captured, both more than 5 minutes, both no lag or stutter, what I've done is I switch to Flight Mode, clear all tasks than start capturing. That's it, Can some of you guys test it to confirm?

It stated there tested using REAR camera (obviously bcos ARC doesnt have secondary front camera)

So........ I guess everytime when we do video call, we got to be in front of a mirror to let the rear camera capture our reflection and also in order for us to see the person we r talking to on ARC screen

Just take a look when he disregards the effect of BRAVIA engine and comparing it to HTC & ACER screen. The pictures speak for themselves and the difference is do obvious

Also on the camera, he has commented he got 1 steady shot after 10 blurry shots trying to capture text. HELLO, is he an alcoholically or what?

Hi, good that it works for you, funnily for me it still happened, my battery went down straight to 1% from 20++% today. Just got it charged till 100%. I called the seller and he said other customers are complaining the same issues as well. I'll monitor this cycle and see what happenes.

its simple , most of the web review arent that true .. or they are slidely more on a side .. which is not really that honest most of the time .. coz we are all human ..

i read somewhere around xda said some reviewer didnt have free set from 'x' so they talk cock about it .. or 'a' didnt buy their ad of their blog or webby ...
they love 'b' so 'b' will get higher mark ..

i would say all the phone is good enaugh for any user .. just depend how they use it or present it

This is a bug in Android 2.3 (affects Nexus S as well). It happens after the SD card is unmounted/mounted. Strange thing is some don't have the problem with Arc. I had the problem before but seems okay now

My mp3 tones are stored in SD card folders /ringtones/ and /notifications/

When i first got the phone, the custom tones will revert to default after restart. Then I just left them there in the card and use the default tones.

After about two weeks, I tried assigning the custom tones from the card again.... and now after a few days the custom tones seem to be working fine (already rebooted a few times and also plug/unplug in PC USB)


If your phone is still new or just changed a new card, maybe try again in a week or so?

Tried Camera Zoom FX, it is okay if the camera stay still and record. When i take the camera to record on kids, the lag comes. Seems like the lag only comes when there is bigger movements happening.


i tried, flight mode not working.

bro care to share some tips how to take good photo ?

I enable facebook contact in my contact list, im too enable it to auto sync ..
but ..
the facebook contact in my contact list status seem outdated ..
the status it show it about a week ago ..
i tried manual sync also the same ..

Is there touch focus in Arc? I thought only touch capture?

yes u can find it inside the focus tab

Wow there touch focus with ARC. That is an amazing feature especially if u love making bokeh.
