Still looking for a band as a vocalist.

1. Experience: been taking vocal lessons for a few years and feel its time to look for a band to improve further. Have some experience performing in front of an audience.

2. Influences/musical preferences: enjoy the classics (John Denver, Beatles, Bon Jovi etc), but also like some of the current alternative pop/rock bands (Fun, One Republic, etc.). Basically anything besides heavy metal or hard rock.

3. Location: I stay in Subang Jaya, but willing to travel anywhere that is not too far.

4. Requirements/expectations: Just want to have some jam sessions, maybe do some performances if we are good enough (for fun/no need profit). Looking to perform regularly in front of an audience.

seriously we dont care what race or what gender you are as long as you have passion for anime songs.

me n my bandmate previously was a full piece. our band was called Kinyoubi Rock. We came up with that band just to celebrate with some japanese friends who came for a 3 week visit at college. It was 3 years ago on that Friday night when we performed songs like:-

1.Remioromen - Sangatsu No Kokonoka
2. Yui - Rolling Star
3. Janne De Arc - Gekkouka

all performed in jamming studio only coz only for friends.

Later we performed for our uni J-fest. There we play songs like:-

1. Asian Kungfu Generation - Haruka Kanata
2. Larc En Ciel - Daybreaks Bell
3. Yui - Rolling Star
4. Siam Shade - Junjou Na Kanjou

Actually, the reason i am calling out to you guys now is that we were both recently inspired by all the bands which played for Comic Fiesta'13. So want to plan for CF'14.

However, now our previous bassist, keyboard, drummer all sudah chow. So we need to find new ones. Hopefully can find an intermediate level player that can work with tabs. We also welcome players who always strive hard to use their ears to find each note of a song. Whats important had always been passion. Passion for the genre. Passion for the music. Thats what our previous band lacked. but no worries about us, cause we ourselves not that high level at playing. I cant sweep but i can at least shred (yngwie malmsteen fan)

However now me n my friend are society's workers so even ourselves cant find much time to do things we love. Usually weekends la for practice.

Hello there.

My band was looking for a male vocalist (either as sessionist or permanent member)

Genre = J-rock/anime
Influence = Sometimes Asian Kungfu Generation, Field of View (Dan Dan). We willing to try something new like One OK, Spyair, or old anime songs op etc)

Criteria = Has interest in J-rock and anime. And really appreciate if you have own transport

Petaling Jaya, Cheras, Ampang.

Reason:
Well, we already have a female vocalist now but usually her availability is alternate. So, in order for us to get our skills in shaped,and also to satisfy our lust and craving for jamming, we plan to get a male vocalist to fill up that 'empty' week. Although we usually jam K-ON songs, Touhou, Supercell and naoRipe with our female vocalist. But for male vocalist, we still have less experience and want to test with anyone who interested. I put AKFG and FOV for our influence there becoz we had jam those band's song before with our ex-male vocalist before he flew to Japan to further his study. However, we willing to try something new.

Goal:
Our goal is to have a fun jam session. If can go further, why not trying?

The band should sound like guns n roses, led zeppelin, black sabbath, aerosmith, metallica, ozzy osbourne, van halen etc. Very reminiscent of the 80's attitude.No drugs though. If singer can sing like axl rose or steven tyler that would be a plus. Maybe write some original material and a few covers.

Would be good if you're into that kind of stuff. You don't have to be bloody good, decent is fine. we already have three guitarist. we'll just practice for awhile then maybe get a few gigs.

Hi all. I have gathered quite a few members but still shorts on vox, bass and drummer. 2nd guitar can also be an addition. As for now we played mostly alternative, punk and etc (simple2 songs) but we're looking forward to play heavier stuff and we're short of members. So if anyone who interested a voc (who like to scream) a bassist and a drummer (currrently our guitarist have been playing drum) or a 2nd/1st guitar (so our guitar remain on drums), please give us a call/msg etc.
