Looking for a band as a vocalist. Was in a band a month back but currently in hiatus.

1. Experience: Been taking vocal lessons for a few years. Have some experience performing in front of an audience.

2. Influences/musical preferences: enjoy the classics (John Denver, Beatles, Bon Jovi etc), but also like some of the current alternative pop/rock bands (Fun, One Republic, etc.). Heavy metal or hard rock (Guns and Roses) is also fine with me as long as the music has meaning lol.

3. Location: I stay in Subang Jaya, but willing to travel anywhere that is not too far.

4. Requirements/expectations: Just want to have some jam sessions, maybe do some performances if we are good enough (for fun/no need profit). Looking to perform regularly in front of an audience.

Hi guys. New here. Nice to know you in advance.
Been playing guitar for nearly 17 years. Break for 5 years. Now I'm 31 already!
So recently I just came back to playing/making music and I thought I wanna get a little bit serious this time.
Got lead guitarist already and I'll be covering the rhythm and vocals. So I'm looking for:

1. Bassist
2. Drummer
3. Keyboards (maybe)

I listen to almost everything but generally Tool, A Perfect Circle, The Smashing Pumpkins (and anything Billy Corgan as a matter of fact),
Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, The Mars Volta, Metallica, Sigur Ros, Bjoerk, Dir En Grey, Tori Amos, you get the drift.

Got a couple of original songs lined-up. Most probably (hopefully) I'll finish all the lyrics by the end of the year.
So if you're interested to give this a go, then please pm me.

I've also got some old contacts from the local music scene that I think (probly) can help with the stage part.
So if we can commit to this, well that's a good start already. Being a bit careerist and ambitious is fine huh?

BTW this is a couple of songs I recorded (one man show, drum machines, fake bass, over digital, syok sendiri) around 2006-2008.
(But what I wrote this day is a lot different from these, but the essence is still the same I guess. Some things never change...)

Preferably based in Cheras area but we can be mobile, no problemo.
Can be yellow, brown or blue, I care not, as long as you're interested and speak the language of music (with a bit skill alll the better).

Hi, im looking for bandmate preferably live in johor bahru. I play guitar (intermediate) and keyboard(beginner) and I wrote couple songs (about 6 now) and i just wonder if my song can be harmonized with other instrument like keyboard, drum or bass. But i really am noob in this music production stuff. I kinda need help with that.

Just to make it clear i do this because i enjoy making music not for fame (just a bit appreciation will be nice). I listen to Daughter, mogwai, sigur ros, low roar, ben howard, Bon iver...etc so my music probably influence by them. It also will be nice to have a good male voice to add some variety in the harmony of the song.
