just got my ICE done today... finally! Tore out all 6 stock speakers (4pcs 2-ways in the doors + 2 component speakers/tweeters in the front dash).

Replaced w/Hertz & Lightning Audio 2-ways & components. And added my 4-channel Pegasus amp in.

The sound now is SO BLOODY GOOD! The stock speakers were really crap Can't believe the difference. Time to load up my CDs and do more longer test drives to check sound quality.

BTW, all this was done WITHOUT touching the HU (no need to tear it out, as all speakers are routed to the amp which shares same wiring w/HU as it goes into the fuse box behind glove compartment - so just have to connect both wires in the fuse box area). Just got to find the right ICE guy w/right expertise.

Will upload some pics of the installation work soon. Total damage to wallet: ~RM1200. Ouch. (2pcs 6" 2-ways + 2-components + wiring). But my music now is soooooooooooo good

Got my ICE upgraded over wkend. Quite painful seeing all the speakers/rubber seals/floor mats ripped out... but the end result is so damn good

A few hrs later, after doing proper cable management and arranging all wires neatly/tying them in. The seat fits perfectly on top:




My sound system sounds so so much better than stock ones. The mid-range is superb... especially with our IN2 quiet interior when cruising... ahh.. nice. Just had to add some soundproofing material to the door areas where speaker is mounted, so the speaker won't rattle against the bare chassis esp when playing State of Trance 2011

When free, will post up photos of the stock speakers (it really looks like crap when you take it out - no wonder it sounds like crap haha).

Just had another DIY after the blue background Honda Emblem.

This time I've changed the rear plate light to super bright LED.

Bought those commercial use super bright LED and the brightness is so bright till the floor also can see.





Cost? Dirt cheap than you buy those branded Philip white LED/Bulb.

i tinted the 3M crystaline solar film yesterday on my insight.

CR 70 for both front windscreen and front rear windows (driver and front passenger)
CR40 for both back rear windows and rear windscreen

the CR40 is good, which it reduces significant sunlight into the rear part of the car. 



tested smartag at toll, no prob at all! GPS signal is great still.

got 5 years warranty mah, but of course if u want to take care of the battery. then suggest u turn off the econ mode, which it reduces significantly on the number of auto-stop 

I also got experience wind sound on driver seat above 80km/h

i think i saw one of our forum members posted his insight installed with the painted mudguard using other old honda model right?
anyone knows what is the model and where to get the mudguard?
