sry, typo error, supposed to quote u, anyway...

We have the luxury to call for appointment? Weekdays i understand, but even saturday? I dunno if i do that, will i get evil stares from the waiting customers, haha. And everyone has a number ticket in their hands, so i guess everyone did queue for number regardless.

Basically i went in at 8.40am (which is just 10 minutes pass the opening time) and bloody machine churned out number 46! Even i were to call-in to arrange appointment at 8.30, i will still be behind those early birds...probably.
*
there is two different queue (Appointment vs Walk-In)
so, if u have your scheduled your appointment, u will get a separate queue number
thus, u can get your car serviced ahead of the 46 walk-in customers

My update.

As i calculate the fuel consumption, i found that the onboard FC computer is not bad and quite accurate.

My last average FC before refuel was 18.9km/l (displayed in MID). I refuel early this time, before the indicator blinks and about quarter needle before empty. Already traveled 560km. Paid rm55.80 full tank = 29.37 liters. It works out 19.06km/l.

Not bad at all considering that tank I speed up the car to 160-180km/h all the way from pagoh to ayer hitam, plus fetch my wife daily (short trip), plus jam in KL last weekend (federal highway friday afternoon).

Current tank i able to maintain average 22km/l so far. My target after 2nd service, i should be able to achieve 25km/l average. Hypermiling is fun.

well, i'm just being nosey...were you able to achieve 160-180 kmph with ECO mode on or off?

Anyone tried using the new Petronas Primax 95 Xtra on their Insight?
If yes, kindly share the feedback on the FC and difference in performance

As I was reading the posts in the following thread, I found that the feedbacks are a little exaggerating rclxub.gif

My previous car using Michelin Primacy LC, fantastic grip and comfort. Worth every penny. Now this Insight came with Bridgestone Turanza, I gotta agree with you guys, kinda stiff and causes rattling/vibration occasionally, am running them at 210/200 psi front/rear. Also rear view mirror sometime shaky, headache. Glad to hear this can be solve by changing to Michelin or other softer tires. smile.gif

In the honda insight manual book, the recommended the front/rear tire pressure is 230kPa..
shall we follow this standard? coz personally I think its too high

hizz.. got into accident with my car...
kena bumper and fender... check with SA.. no Stock for bumper and fender... need order... ETA 1 month depend on Japan...

So ALL BROTHER AND SISTER driving Honda Insight.. Don't get into accident.. No Body part for our car yet...

are you planning to pay off the expenses for the repair or claim insurance?
If my memory serves me right, the service advisor told me that the bumper for Honda Insight would cost at least 2K and above sweat.gif
so, if the damage is not major, perhaps you may consider to knock and respray the parts rather than replacing it

my FC all the while remains at 17 - 18km-ish. full tank last for around 550+km.

my last tank of petrol, from PJ went to putrajaya for photoshooting, came back to PJ, from PJ drove to subang and back for numerous time, and then from PJ to raub (pahang), and from raub (pahang) back to PJ, i still got 10% of petrol left on tank. i am really amazed!

my FC is very similar to yours...regardless how much green I've tried to maintain, it won't go above 600km per full tank...are my driving skills really that bad?? cry.gif
