If your good, then you can most certainly earn more then 10K a month or open your own business and reap the benefits of being your own proprietor.

In general, singapore is a rather safe country, wherever you go. If your worried about going home late, then just take a taxi straight home since your likely to get mugged along a dark walkway rather then in the brightly lit common corridor or lift entrance.

10K salary aint luxury, i know a couple of fellas who earn around that figure and they live modestly since their not very materialistic and dont have the need to buy branded goods such as every tom, d*** and harry in singapore toting a LV bag.

Since thats the set time frame when the BTO's should be fully constructed. Which would be during the recession of 2012-2013.

Since its a global recession like 2008-2009 since the corrective measure in banking hasnt been fixed yet, europe is still debating on clearing the debts of greece and spain, portugal, ireland and italy are still saddled with debt. The US economy doest show signs of improvement either and looks like to gonna have another collapse. Your estimate is the calculated recession that occurs every 10 years but 2012's recession is due to 2009's after effects.

Easy, greece will default their country to china.

According to news reports, there are more job openings in singapore then applicants. Why not try since alot of companies are now headhunting for people rather then the other way around.

Read the today online newspaper.

Doesnt say, most likely encompasing all industry and skill leves rather then specifics.

With a woman like that, one can join the singaporean spinsters club. Ever advancing in both career and wealth, but permanent relationship wise is a dead end.

Anybody know if FDW's are exempted from MOM laws cause it seems that not having a day off in one week is standard practice.

That fella just being the standard arsehole of the bunch, theres bound to be one so dont be so surprised about it since we have more then enough of them in parliament.

Both android and iphone battery life can be extended but you need to jailbreak both platforms. But android has finer power management tweaks which allow superior battery life, i cracked my andriod work phone and i now get around 2 days worth of usage even with listening to music, surfing and making calls. You can never get that kind of battery performance from a jail broken iphone.

But bear in mind my phone has a rather large battery for its size. Getting good battery life on the andriod platforms depends on the customized rom and the phone device. Generally cortex processor are more efficient then its snapdragon equivalent.

Seantang is correct since eventhough the android platform is supposed to be open, they do not allow root or "SU" = super user access to the OS. So there are some apps which have not gone through the android markets evaluation process or require root access like certain backup utilities, overclocking your phones processor and tweaking certain system settings which are not available by default.

Some amazon apps on amazons app store for instance require root access to function.

Better not OC a snapdragon processor since you dont get bang for your buck unlike a cortex which i am running.

Most probably due to singtel agreement with iphone for bulk orders, the wholesale price that their charging singtel is way cheaper then whats on the apple store.

If im not mistaken the actual production cost including covering the cost of manpower as well brings the iphone price to USD188. Now you know why apple was 2nd in earnings in the US behind exxonmobil since the profit margins are huge, not including the killing they make on the app store where a third of a developers revenue goes into apples pocket.

But hey, at least your not footing the 400-500 dollar bill. Alot of big corps like BB due to push-email service, better security policying due to BES and the ability to control certain aspects of BB devices which you cant do on the iphone platform.

At least you have functioning internet services when your working, i best i have is the occasional usage of a sat phone since some areas i goto have no cell coverage in that particular country.

Added on June 25, 2011, 9:52 pmNice. The phone is more powerful then the current iphone but the lure of the iphone is its platform and user experience, not the hardware specs which is the direct opposite of androids concept but that gonna change in time.

I stopped drinking falvoured milk due to excess sugar they put in those things. I usually buy low fat or full cream but not flavored.

Btw is marche buffet really that nice? Tried the normal servings at marche and i found that nearly everything except the meat tasted of mushrooms.
