it is still based on tng.

i think its leceh, especially for ppl who dont use this daily. have to buy the minimum of rm5 just to use rm1

if they implement this, then I believe everyone will definitely keep a T&G card in their wallet, just like me in SG, even i ride my bike, i will always keep a Nets Cash card in my wallet, who knows i wanted to park and ride on that day, coz use EZlink or Nets will get rebate in SG. they should implement this system in MY also.

The issue of rebate was mentioned in the NKRA in comparison to other cards such as Ezlink, Taipei card and London Oyster card.

Not sure what is the current status.

The current implementation includes onboard GPS system for exact fare calculation.

there's a conspiracy behind this implementation to this new ticketing system.....

believe it or not, I heard it from the drivers that there's a new datuk in Rapid's company and he has signed a 3 year contract for this system.

so if he's contract ends in 3 years, this system might be scrapped off and all the profit he brings along.

but sometimes it's kinda annoy me laugh.gif
you know when whole bunch of people wanna get out from the bus and they need to touch the thing, then i need to wait them baru can go out trololol.
*
been there..sux big time, especially when the machine having problem reading some cards and that guy keep on trying and trying and cursing and other people kept on pushing...if get off the bus without touching then the card cannot be used until it has recorded that you have left the bus, same like lrt and komuter..lets hope this issue has been solved with the new system

why cant they just install redio wave transmitter near every station for every bus to know where the fucuk they are at... GPS is so unreliable especially in areas where there are trees and what not.
*
Radio wave transmitter is poor choice (not even possible) to locate hundreds of buses.

It has interference and less accurate compared to GPS.

Tracking bus using GPS is a proven method.

Very very unlikely.

I never seen driver take detour before, and the calculation based on zones.

yup... radio lagi la tak reliable kena ade sub station untuk relay signal + badwidth untuk radio transmission = kecik

it will be good if the card is sold in 7-11
can u reload touch n go in 7-11?
*
Do you know that you can buy new (TnG) Rabbit card, and reload/topup on the bus?

I'm not sure any 7-11 do TnG topup, but there are many phone shops and convenient store that do. See http://touchngo.com.my/?pg=syswhere2reloadt search for "Agents".

They should implement it again. It's more attractive.
