I've gotten my statements for 2 billing cycles, but so far there is no charges for RM50 GST(MBB2Card). Which cycle will it appear?

I believe they will ... soon. Alternatively, you can write to them and tell them just informative this board is. And please tell them to hire me and Gen-X. We can work from home and be their online support staff. You know ? Like CIMB_Assists in Twitter or Maybankard Facebook Page in Facebook ?  laugh.gif

Until then, here is my latest post on the UOB Lady's Card.

Main Benefits:
1. 25% discount on Saturdays for shoes. Valid until 31 Dec 2011 BUT max pay out for promotion only RM400,000, so I guess by the 4th quarter of this year, it would be habis.

2. 5 years free annual fee waiver

3. 5% SMART$ cash rebate since this is applicable to all UOB Credit Cards.

So conclusion, the beset credit card in Malaysia to buy Shoes on Saturday is no doubt the UOB Lady's Card, that is subjected that the card holder spend more than RM500 in that month to qualify for the rebate.

Few weeks earlier, SCB Customer Service told me that I can maintain a SCB Mastercard(Supplementary) with my SCB Business Visa(Principal).
Subsequently, I asked for card cancellation of the SCB Mastercard.

Now Sales CS (from Price Solutions) says I had to maintain my SCB Mastercard(Principal) to ensure my SCB Mastercard(Supplementary) is active.... mad.gif vmad.gif
BUT... SCB will credit 11,000 ChoicePoints for me to offset the GST for the SCB Mastercard(Principal) in August 2011. brows.gif

i use the Fuel savings calculator @ citibank website for my standard usage (of rm1k, to compare with mbb2 amex):

petrol rm400 + others rm600 can received monthly rebates rm24 only.
while mbb2 amex can get back rm50 (weekend), plus 5x tp rclxm9.gif

the annual salary requirement (gold card) is higher than mbb2 amex gold? doh.gif
plus, mbb2 amex is free annual fee while citibank shell gold need to pay rm195/year! whistling.gif

IT IS!

ONLY IF, spend min rm2.5k per month, with min rm750 shell + balance on others, can get back rm60 or 64 per month.

but again, with total rm2.5k per month, mbb2 amex can get back rm50 (weekend) + 12,500 TP.
that TP can redeem for rm50 voucher (9,300 to 11,000) so total cashback equal to rm100 notworthy.gif

but for me, the most important thing is free annual fee without any conditions ~ brows.gif

MBB2 amex still the best

Got my Citibank Platinum Visa yesterday and my wife's Citibank PremierMiles. I didn't even realised that PremierMiles is a Visa Signature  doh.gif

Well Citibank Platinum now offer 5X reward points at Isetan, Jusco, Marks&Spencer, Metrojaya, Parkson, Robinsons, Tangs, Carrefour, Cold Storage, Everise, Giant, Servay and Tesco. The PremierMiles don't get this benefit. BUT, it is subjected to maximum spending of RM3000 per month. Still better than HSBC RM1K per month.

Asked my wife to get the PremierMiles just for the 2 entry pass to airport lounges with Priority Pass  smile.gif
