Just posted my article on Fraudulent charges with credit card at my blog.

The Star today headlines is about BNM smsing card issuer. What a bull, the card issuer is suppose to sms and not BNM. Anyway it got me thinking, if we don't call the bank immediately after we receive the sms, would that mean that we will be liable for the unauthorized transaction? Should there be a time frame for us to call back? What if your handphone no credit or no battery

I strongly suggest that the bank should let the user to enable/disable the SMS notification option. So, consumer cannot put the blame on bank if there's no notification about the fraudulent transaction. This also let user to decide whether do they need the option because some might feel that too many of SMS notification is quite an annoyance.

It is located over @ the 1st floor, near the (side) entrance to Maxis within the mall area. The booth is not within the CIMB bank premises itself, so it is not opposite RHB.

Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, we normally call it Convex and not KLCC if I'm not mistaken.

Yesterday I went to Kim Gary First Avenue and they accept cards with minimum swipe of RM 40.

How about other branches especially those in KL?

I noticed not every Kim Gary outlet accepts CC. That's why wanted to double confirm.

Didn't notice the promotion in Burger King, just dined there last night. Aargh, just missed it using my DA!

LOL ! I've used credit card at the KFC near my house twice before and that was in 2009, if my memory serves me correctly. Anyway, they already removed the machines and no longer offer credit card as a form of payment anymore.

usually i dont bother and just proceed.
the other day at Kfc in JB, the outlet says no discount of 10% and held up the que until i told them to go check properly and was told to eat my food .  after tht they told me its only 5%. ok just accepted it but later went back and find out its only for weekend now to get the discount

Thank you so much for pointing this out. I immediately checked my TP right after reading your post and found out that as much as 3,000 TP is missing from my account. I also just realized that i wasn't given any TP at all for those transactions recorded in my February statement

Surprisingly I didn't even use up to RM1000 (actual usage RM400 only) to get the RM50 rebate last month and they still gave it to me full.
