just so u guys know, if anyone is interested with entrepreneurship and wants to gain more experience and knowledge, u guys can drop by at PUSMAL which is in Kompleks Perdana Siswa, KPS.
QUOTE PUSMAL provide courses and organize visits to industries in order to provide exposure and promote entrepreneurship among students. PUSMAL also serves as a bridge connecting industries with government agencies in formulating businesses in order to create new entrepreneurs among the graduates. more details here http://www.pusmal.um.edu.my and another thing, undergraduates are encouraged to join Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE). QUOTE SIFE is an international non-profit organization that works with leaders in business and higher education to mobilize university students to make a difference in their communities while developing the skills to become socially responsible business leaders. Participating students form teams on their university campuses and apply business concepts to develop outreach projects that improve the quality of life and standard of living for people in need. An annual series of regional and national competitions provides a forum for teams to present the results of their projects, and to be evaluated by business leaders serving as judges. National champion teams advance to the prestigious SIFE World Cup. In addition to the community aspect of the program, SIFE’s leadership and career initiatives create meaningful opportunities for learning and exchange among the participants as well as the placement of students and alumni with companies in search of emerging talent. SIFE Universiti Malaya is under PUSMAL so u can drop by there to inquire them about both the entrepreneurship programs and also SIFE. i can assure u, joining SIFE will give u new exciting experience and u will make many new friends from across the world. furthermore, it looks good on your resume. most of the employers worldwide acknowledged SIFE so its definitely a plus point for u. good luck! |

QUOTE(chitsumon @ Apr 4 2012, 05:13 PM) Hi all, based on UM website here http://e-application.um.edu.my/programme.aspI heard that it is very hard to apply MBBS course from UM. I am wondering if that is real as my youngest bro is willing to study Medical in UM as we do not have budget to study in other private university. However, he is not Malaysian and would like to know what are the entry requirements for MBBS course from UM for non-Malaysian students. the only available program from faculty of medicine for international students is BACHELOR OF BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES. but im not sure if the information provided is accurate. u may check with them for further details. QUOTE(pirzzaa @ May 6 2015, 09:21 PM) Hi, I would like to know whether it is possible to pursue my studies overseas after Asasi Sains Fizikal? (Thanks ahead) Not sure about JPA or MARA scholarship since they have their own foundation/matriculation, but if pursuing your studies on your own, yes you can. Just received the Asasi offer yesterday? |

QUOTE(pirzzaa @ May 7 2015, 03:18 PM) Im not sure how it is now because I left Asasi 10 years ago. I think you will be placed in 12th college, which in my opinion is a very good one. You have all the things you need there - cafe, atm, clinic, mini shop, laundry, cybercafe. So accommodation wont be a problem. Studying environment of Asasi is so different compared to a Matriculation. It is similar to studying for a degree so you have all the freedom which could result in a culture shock if you are not mentally prepared. In a matriculation, you will feel like you are still in a boarding school while in Asasi, you will feel like a true university student. Being in the middle of KL also does not really help lol. But you can have some fun, just that remember to always study when you must, and dont skip the classes. Rest assured, Asasi was one of my best experiences in my life. So good luck and welcome to the best University in Malaysia! |
