QUOTE(SSY22 @ Apr 14 2011, 10:47 AM) 50mm 1.8G might be cheap like KTCY said. Well.. I don't know I keep saying to myself that 50mm 1.8 is good and make myself to do a little playing game. however my brain side always say it's like 50mm 1.8D with 'AF-S' nothing fancy. damn!I hope it is sharper than 50mm 1.4 at f1.8. But surely the bokeh effect is not so attractive compared to 50mm 1.4 since less blades in the lens How much for zeiss 50mm 1.4? my teacher got one zeiss 50mm 1.4 on his 5dmark II . only use for video |

QUOTE(azrinarizz @ Apr 17 2011, 10:11 PM) Slower than D3s I think it was Nikon's sensor limitation. now they are using ISO 100 as their base.I have always wonder, why does Nikon start with ISO 200 as their base ISO. Why not 100? QUOTE(elainor @ Apr 18 2011, 12:15 AM) Thanks for the facts vearn27, 14-24,24-70,70-200 was/is Nikon's trinity lenses. Now the lens in my mind are, 11-16 tokina f/2.8, 16-35mmf/4, 14-24mm f/2.8 What would i want to shoot? Walkabout lens, landscape and some food photog or model figures like danbo. Budget wise around rm5k wouldnt mind top up a lil bit. |

QUOTE(faareast @ Apr 19 2011, 02:16 AM) still waiting for SSY22 tips.. hehe bro are you using nifty fifty in this shoot? if you do. try to step it down a bit to get your expected sharpness. my friendly suggestion. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « CnCs are welcome as I tried my friend's nifty fifty. I think the sharpest point is in f/2.8 |
