QUOTE(are_yee @ Apr 8 2011, 11:53 AM) whats the differ between 50m and 35mm f1.8? i want to hv d7000, which lens is more suitable? depend what you shoot. 50mm f/1.8 is fx lens, can be used on FX and DX body. 35mm f/1.8 is DX lens, can be used on DX body. FX body will have vignetting problem.

I'm using free membership too. sorry i m noob here where to enable exif information in flickr? Added on April 8, 2011, 2:37 pmi still blur blur in lens' tech hehe...let's say there are 2 lens la... 1) 70-300 VR f/4-5.6 2) 70-300 non-VR f/2.8 then "VR" or "bigger aperture" which one to choose? because wan to know VR can perform better or bigger aperture in low light environment. QUOTE(eddy230379 @ Apr 8 2011, 02:40 PM) erm ... lens number 2 does not exists ... i was meaning if there is 2 same focal range lens...but one is f2.8 (or higher), another one got VR.... you will rather choose which one? because wan to know VR can perform better or bigger aperture in same low light environment. QUOTE(Everdying @ Apr 8 2011, 04:58 PM) all filters give reduction in IQ, chapalang ones are very obvious. decent filters u wont notice that much IQ reduction on normal zoom lenses... in studios also u may not want to use filters, cos can sometimes kena flare from the studiolights. but on telephoto lenses, filters definitely not recommended. this guy describes the situation pretty well with filters on telephotos. http://www.clarkvision.com/articles/evalua...lity/index.htmlnow dilemma wan get filter or not...but filter also is a kind of protection right? hmm ...protection or photo quality.....
