It's not as easy as the method via TU since you have to put your iDevices in DFU mode etc

The blobs is saved as an .iFaith file (instead of .shsh like TU) so the question then is, how do we use this .iFaith file to restore our iPhone? Can we use it via the TSS Server in TinyUmbrella or do we need to restore it using another program?

ifaith require DFU mode (not for newbie) and dont support ipad2.

The shsh blob is already a signed shsh and you cant use tinyumbrella TSS Server. it use limera1n exploit to extract the signed shsh blob.

You can build signed ipsw with the shsh and restore it (depends on your extracted shsh blob).

only useful for those having old firmware and shsh blob no longer sign by apple (eg. for new iphone4 with 4.3.3 out of box)

Anybody can help me wif my iphone 3g jailbreak?
I juz update to the latest or max version tat is 4.2.1(last time was 3.0)
n then now the jailbreak software all files missing or some unusable.

Wat can i do now?

What files? The redsn0w files or the apps that you have previously is missing?

just restore back the ios n jb with greenpoison mate...the easiest n stable jb software...

every files..
i think bcoz iphone 3g is not common ad n oso this 4.2.1 version is too old..

My 3gs is jb. I would like to transfer songs to my iphone but i heard if i sync with itunes, all my existing apps and games will be erased. Is tat true? If yes, what is the alternative way for me to transfer mp3 songs to my iphone. Thx

Unless you have pirated apps than yes, the apps will be deleted. Otherwise, jailbreaking doesn't affect syncing with iTunes. You can do any normal activity as those non-jailbroken iPhones.
