Since it is on the 6.15 baseband, you can only upgrade using the custom firmware method. So bear that in mind as well. |

There are two ways to restore to 4.3.3 with SHSH saved
1. Via Cydia - pointing your host file to Cydia (can't remember if you need to be on DFU mode but maybe you do)
2. Via TSS server of TU but you will need to save the SHSH locally and set the TSS Server running and set the host file to a local server setting. This is what I normally do. It's much easier and does not depend on Cydia (there have been time when Cydia is down)

1013 error usually can be fixed with fixed recovery (google for the program) Didn't you backup your iPhone before attempting to downgrade (and then restore to 4.3.5)? if you had backup your iPhone, all your SMS and contacts will be restored once you restore your backup. I think iOS 5 will probably be out in a couple of weeks. Apple was supposed to have some sort of iPod Celebration so people were speculating that iOS 5 will be released then and the iPhone 5 will be announced there as well. IIANM, it was supposed to be on the 7th but I haven't heard anything so it could be in the next couple of weeks.

In your case, you had 4.3.3 before so it would have been a perfect firmware as all you need to do was visit http://www.jailbreakme.com and jailbreak your iPhone. No need to use redsn0w, no need to update your firmware etc etc. Just one click process for a nice untethered jailbreak. Anyway, here's hoping that the dev-team comes up with an untethered jailbreak for iOS5. |
