I think I better go with the ETX-105AT but too bad Looi(Malaysia Meade Dealer) doesn't allow installments. This is terrible since I cannot afford to pay so much just in a time. I still need RM1300 arr  doh.gif

Any SLR type camera from the popular brand manufacturers can be easily mounted on a telescope.
Basically, to do prime focus photography, where you turn the telescope into a super long telephoto lens, you only need a T-ring (for your particular camera model) and a T-adapter/Camera adapter. I think any of the local Astronomical Equipment Suppliers will be able to help you since the 300D is quite a popular camera amongst amateur astrophotographers.

Mr.LKM very quiet nowadays? I can't ask you about the -you know what- since i'm forbidden to talk about it..... sad.gif

The other day I was using Google Earth, and looking at Kluang, wondering which building your house is.......your town looks like a good place for astronomy, quite flat terrain all round. Are there a lot of industrial factories in the town area?

Genting is very bad for star gazing (tried many times). Always full of clouds (the name genting means `cloud top', hehe) and a bit too cold.

Bukit Tinggi can be quite good (I have tried Janda Baik a couple of times) but being surrounded by hills, the seeing is bad for low objects. Also, the whole area is getting developed very fast and light pollution is becoming a nuisance. I am hoping to find some new dark sites to watch from before the dwindling current sites get overrun by civilisation.....
At the rate things are going, it maybe that I will have to go to BP and Kluang to get some satisfactory views!
