But it's a wonderful sight when you manage to see it.  thumbup.gif

Nothing dramatic to see as far as the eclipse was concerned.

As a webcam, i don't think you can get a better one at this price.

As for use in astrophotography, i can't say yet because I haven't had time to do the modifications to the circuit board and mount; scared i'll void the warranty lah. Since my Casio is doing a nice job, and I don't need to bring a pc/notebookalong to do astrophotography, i think the webcam is a little bit redundant.

But for those who don't have a digicam, and don't mind doing some soldering, then the Toucam is a nice camera.

I think I am going to buy one to be used in IM... unsure.gif

This should be more than good enough for im. It's a CCD, not a cheap CMOS....
Better grab from DAViS before stocks run out.

I am going to buy it soon. Anyway, tonigth sky is really clear, many messier objects are able to be spotted by unaided eyes. rclxm9.gif I am going to do observing later, what about you?

I fell asleep early last night, didn't even look at the sky. Klang Valley seems to be already hit by the haze. Today very polluted sky....bad days again.  vmad.gif

So how was the Messier gazing last night in Kluang? Hope you had a productive school holidays....astronomically speaking, of course.
*
I observed Jupiter as well as other messier objects but I forgot to note them down. blush.gif I found a problem that the Jupiter and Saturn look yellowish, what's the problem? They are not same as in the photos which are taken by the astronomers. unsure.gif
