Easily thousands, but hard to say how many ppl actually came for the fair, many were probably visiting the complex itself, the fair was held next to the stage in the complex centre. Didn't see you, thot you wanted to come?

Why u didn't post your Moon Venus encounter pics here?

Some more pics of the Fair:
Spectrohelioscope Workshop led by Dr Chong of USM
Dell's  Giant Spectrohelioscope - don't throw away your Dell boxes! You can create your own rainbows with them.
Crowd  learning to build the spectrohelioscope
Our    AGPM pals!
AGPM again, plenty of members' pic on sale. Fantastic stuff! Wah, like pros.

Anybody else has pics to post? I saw many ppl going click-click during the fair, some must be LYN regulars here lah.

i used the [url][/url] tag, but something changed the tag when i post (add reply). Still okay in preview.
Somehow the [url] becomes <a hflyingspaghettimonster instead.

My friend is also having this problem. It's the problem of the LYN word filter. Stay tuned of my "Moon Halo" Picture. thumbup.gif

I took this pic by just handholding the Casio over a telescope's eyepiece. This simple technique unfortunately doesn't work well with a DSLR.
*
Oh I see, I got you. But you used a telescope eyepiece to magnify? huh.gif

I'm still using the telescope's primary lens to magnify. The eyepiece must match the lens on my Casio so that i can achieve proper focus without vignetting. So far, i've found that the Casio is quite versatile and works well on a large variety of eyepieces. But you will need a fairly steady hand though.
It is interesting that the more expensive and higher spec digicams struggle with this method.
*
You're so good at this territory! thumbup.gif . I am going to get the gadgets below:

Meade 8"LX90
7 Eyepieces
Lunar Planet Imager
Portable Power Station
4 color filters set
Meade Astro Binocular 9X63
Dew Shield
45° Erect-Image Diagonal

For roughly RM11000
