I am new to SSPN. While waiting for the govt to clarify if the tax relief is going to be extended to year 2023, I have a few questions in mind.

On the 8k tax relief, the tax relief that you are going to get is the net deposit for that year? Let's say I made a withdrawal of 8k on Jan 2023, does that mean that I need to deposit 16k on Dec 2023 to qualify for the full 8k tax relief?

Yes the extra 2.5k is just one off I think, don’t think it will be extended.

Just when I am eligible for SSPN this year, no more tax rebate...tough luck

Hi guys can i ask the only way to withdraw more than 1k now is over the counter? So now the Bank Islam account does not allow you to withdraw more than 1k per transaction?

If you plan to withdraw often, it is better to have a Bank Islam account? If you plan to just leave the money in the SSPN account, you don't really need the account right? Is my understanding correct?

From the past replies, it seems that withdrawing to Bank Islam account is instant, which is why most of the people here have gotten a Bank Islam account linked to their SSPN account.

Yes its perfectly safe. However the receipts needs to be a recent one (from the past 14 days) according to the officer.

There is a tax relief statement that you can download from the website and app. Suggest to download and keep it in case you get audited in the future.

I would be surprised if they don't extend the tax relief for SSPN. The amt of withdrawal is going to be massive if that happens.
