Dear all I am quite puzzled with the interest rate (dividend) announced for 2014. It was announced to be 4.25%, but when I checked back the latest statement, I am only getting something like 1.68% for the amount I have deposited until 31 Dec 2014. How about your dividends? Thanks in advance for any input.

Dear Mum Baki Awal 1 Jan 2014 RM1550 Baki AKhir 31 Dis 2014 RM 4500 Dividen 1 Jan 2015 RM 83.76
I made the deposit regularly from time to time. Hence the dividend is something like 83.76/4500= 1.86% Correct? Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks again.

QUOTE(MUM @ Jun 28 2015, 02:37 PM) when did you put in the 3000? you mean regularly...250 x10 monthly? have try pro rated calculation? is this going to make a difference? I thought it is the annual contribution that matters, regardless of it being 250x12, or 3000x1 or 300x10.... again I may be totally wrong please correct me and I apologize deeply for my ignorance.

QUOTE(MUM @ Jun 28 2015, 03:49 PM) Baki Awal 1 Jan 2014 RM1550 Baki AKhir 31 Dis 2014 RM 4500 Dividen 1 Jan 2015 RM 83.76 Assuming you put in RM 3000 on 31 Dec 2014 RM 1550 x 4.25% = RM 65.87 RM 83.76 - RM 65.87 = RM 17.89 will the RM 3000 placed on 31 Dec 2014 earn RM 17.89 interest from 2014? just a thought....... I see... if this is the case, the dividend is even less than 1%?
