My mistake probably but to be clear I'm referring to loan interests, not when the repayment starts.

Let's say for course of 5 years my total loan is 50K (10K/year), interests on the 50k loan would only start to be calculated 1 year after graduation/loan agreement date , is that right?

So let's say if I decide to payback RM50k one shot after graduation, there will be no interests on the RM50k?
