WOuld like to get an advise and info over this SSPN:-

1. To open an account , i can do it via online over here correct : https://www.ptptn.gov.my/esmas-open-acc-web/#/

2. What is the min amount to open an account and how do i top up moving foward?

3. I read thru google and notice to withdraw money from SSPN is not easy. Is it true? Or no longer applicable?

Unfortunately, withdrawing money from your SSPN account is not a simple task! Unlike normal savings accounts, SSPN has very strict rules when it comes to withdrawing your money. Depositors can only withdraw their money once a year, and the maximum amount that is allowed to be taken out is only RM500 or 10% of your total savings.

A 100% withdrawal will require either the beneficiary’s offer letter to local universities/colleges or a statement of the beneficiary “no longer wishing to participate in the educational process”; otherwise it is only possible in the event of the beneficiary’s/depositor’s death or incapacitation.

Thanks for the info. So for 3, can i withdraw anytime with any amount at PTPTN office or Bank Islam? Or only 10% of your total amount or RM 500 per max as i copy the statement from google as per my previous post?

Hi bros and sis, want to check. How can we change the address in the sspn-I account?

Is it matter if the address incorrect? I register at the booth and notice the address filled in incorrect after went back home when I login my online account to verify.

Any idea how I can recorrect the address?

Is there a harm if address incorrect? Just 1 digit wrong, from "3" to "2"

Harm such as difficult to withdraw money due to wrong verification, etc ?
