hi guys,
can suggest some nice macro lenses which also good for portrait?

i was looking at Tamron 60mm F2 Macro, but the price is a bit too high for me...
Tamron 90mm F2.8 seems nice as well and cheaper, but would like to know if any1 can suggest a cheaper 1

on a side note, i jus started photography and are more interested in macro shooting
pls advise...

now, time to find 1 with a nice price...

Im considering buying the Sony alpha a55 along with the 18-55 lens. Im wondering what other lens could i use other than sony's? cause the sony lens are too damn expensive...hehe...

P.S. Im into taking portrait pictures...looking for a good kinda cheap lens which give a nice blurred background.. thanks in advance

sifu wanna ask for tips, i will be going lembing to take sunrise wat filter is good to use(ND4/ND8) or do not need any filter?

indulge myself wiv 2 m42 lenses, got cheap2. Yashinon 50mm F2 and Jupiter 200 F4 (aperture stuck at F4).
superb output in spite of poor optics (fungi) 
suprisingly , old lenses perform really really good. no editing/enhancement done to pics below except the last pic add contrast.

MF with the Yashinon 50 f2 is really smooth, with AF confirm chip 80% of shot tact sharp even @f/2 
but @f/8 and above, sometimes the AF confirm green box dont come out 
the 7x magnification focus on a33 really helps for when use without AF confirm chip 

Still in the mood of Perhentian.

my fren duno if its a good idea to top up rm800 to move to A580 or use the rm800 to buy a tamron sp90 ......... which is a wiser choice? he got a a500 at the moment and tokina 11-16 and 35mm f1.8 and zeiss 24-70

Firmware Upgrade for A33 / A55 Models

Available beginning June 20th, a firmware update for existing α33 and α55 cameras adds several creative and operational enhancements.

Support for the 'Picture Effect' function featured on the new α35 model is now offered. High-Speed Synch is supported during wireless operation with a compatible external flash (α55 only). Ergonomics are further improved with revised menus and a new mode that lets users switch shooting parameters overlaid on-screen for clear, uncluttered composition. The a33 and a55camera's Digital Level Gauge can also be displayed when shooting via the optional CLM-V55 external LCD monitor. Frequently used features can now be custom-assigned to the D-RANGE button for rapid, menu-free access.

Im having the exact same problem as u.. Same location..
I hv actually asked at the sony style and they told me that I hv to send it to the sony center for the cleaning process as the dirt appear to be in the body itself..

guys..any recommendation for camera backpack which can put laptop + body with grip + 4-5lens..and flash??..price below 300...any good one?

i saw that in camera sales before too...looked like replicate of lowepro computrekker AW..lol..but where can i get it??...need to get a bag by 2moro...next week go company trip need bring all lens and laptop..my current sling bag cant fit already...
