before u reflash ecu..ur alarm oso have the same problem as mine?

my key alarm also max distance about 3m. really kns.

things i've realised after reflash ECU....

alarm sense range better
easily pickup
choking while you light step brake(maybe power increased)
sounds system improved

so lesson learned:

apply wd40 to ensure smooth.
never give to pump attendant to refill my car, slam my cap like no business, thus its broke

I never let those attendant to touch my car.... mine so far still very good condition.
As  for my alarm.. also need very near only can on.. and off....Suspect the original remote use small battery. ( i think flat type 3v battery)...

i wonder how others can get 50m range so far... 

Got quite close with a truck or 4wheeler while travelling fast?

In one of the pic there is quite a deep dot, that one confirm is stone chip.. The rest looks like stone hit and lightly scratched off the top layer of the paint.

hmm i think ok gua.. Maybe i want to get for my bonnet, front and back bumper too.. 3M have this product too.. Its totally scratch proof and have high sheer resistance.. And its also custom cut to fit to ur car by computer.. So its just put and stick only.. But price range around rm900-2500.
Very far loh.. 3m is plain ridiculous.. Mine is around 50m without obstacles lah, if try using jeremy's method of sticking the remote at ur temple and pressing can really increase the range by around 20+m.. hehe..

i think is stone chip... and is extra visible on black cars
my black PE has a couple of those ...... everytime i heard sound of sand or small rock knocking on the front of my car during highway.... i go down after tat ... can see add a few new collection :S

try change to better quality of battery.... if cannot send to SC or change to VIPER la like what xan do..... right xan  ?   

send to SC oso give the same excuse la..."no problem ah, is like that wan, normal" 

then u go answer them back la... my fren B like 50M can sense d... see what they answer u... if ur car still under free service ask them to tune for u... u tell them your fc high, sounds system not nice and poor alarm system...

how to jumpstart the car when the stock battery is dead?

the +ve terminal of the stock battery is fully covered by the wire clip
