Is it better to change currency here or there?

hi there, i need some advice on the iternary, can you guys giv some comments on it?

Day 1 really pack..Anyway, since you're going from Bersakith towards tegalalng, for sure passing by Kintamani. Why skip Kinatamani/Batur? Anyway, Kintamani Batur must be in the morning otherwise u see nothing in Evening haha.

Gunung Kawi is in another region. Prettyu far- no point going there actually. Not really great view once you reach there. The Jatiluweh rice terraces better view than the temple.  .BTW, watch out on the timing...The distance between places although near but in actual it's is not due to the road condition. From Tmn Ayun to Tanah Lot can actually takes 1 hr, and from Versakith to Tegalalang probably 1.5-2 hrs[/spoiler]

Any nice and not so expensive stay at Ubud to recommend? Was looking for Tegal Sari but already full then now I'm trying Green Field. Any others that is something like those and the price is around that also. Thanks.

Do i need to make any confirmation with the hotel management?

Use Agoda, asiarooms & etc. Most of the time booking using these discounted websites cheaper than direct booking. If you use skype wth skype credit (prepaid US$10), you can call everywhere in the world for years wth the US$10. I called numerous times & even called back M'sia from Oversea using skype. Bought the credit ~ 2007 and till now still having ~ US$6 balances..

12.00pm Back to Ubud (20min)
12.30pm Lunch with famous babiguling at @ IBu Oka stall, Ubud
1.30pm Go to Bratan Lake,Bedugul– The floating temple (1.5hour)
3.00pmVisit the floating temple (Rp 10,000 per person)
4.00pm Back to Ubud (1.5hour)
6.00pm Dinner at BebekBengil Dirty Duck Restaurant for its famous Crispy Duck
8.00pm Free & Easy

Day4 13oct (Thurs)
7am- Check out from hotel
8.30am-Check in Kuta Hotel
9am-go to Legianbeach+hunt food
10am- go to Bedugul
12noon-lunchAyambakartaliwang at bedugul
3pm- (do something!!)
4.30pm- go to tanah lot (45minutes from kuta)
5.15pm- reach tanah lot, look around and prepare to see sunset
6.30/7pm- back kuta, find thing eat+ night life(?)

9am-Geger beach, take photo.
12noon-lunch at somewhere (Instant food hunt)
2pm-Dreamland(15k parking fees per car)
3pm-Uluwatu
6pm-sunset dinner at Lia Cafe Jimbaran
9pm-back to hotel
12pm-club hopping along double 6 street (see mood)

Day6 15 oct Sat

10am to 5pm-street shopping walking from Legian to Kuta. Can find massage if want.
3pm-lunch at somewhere (instant food hunt)
5pm-buy Hardrock Cafe tshirt and shopping at Matahari supermarket at Kuta
6pm-sunset at Kuta beach
8pm-dinner at somewhere (instant food hunt)
9pm-go back to hotel


Day7 16 oct Sund
7.00am check out
9.10am departure time

just got back from Bali .. Overall a good trip. 
But really tiring. A word of advice to those planning your itinerary ... even though Bali looks small on the map .. traveling by car is really time consuming.  Plan your itinerary to focus on north on one day , south on another day.  i.e A visit to Tanah Lot - Nusa Dua - Ulawatu - Jimbaran took the whole day for me

Haha..Only those back from Bali will know  ..Yes only plan one direction per day..otherwise, doing North West South within a day as what I saw in few earlier itineraries are not recommeded.
