Only US version has the redeem code slip, other version don't.
You should get the US version instead of Asia version as they are the same but US version with 1 extra benefit.

No.
Every single 3DS can only play their own respective region cartridge. (JPN/US/PAL)

So, JPN 3DS can only play JPN cartridges, US 3DS can only play US cartridges and so on.

Nope, only US copy. That is why it is more davantages of having US copy instead of Asia copy due to US copy you can register with club.nintendo and get coin there.

I have a US 3DS but can play Asia version Marioland...you guys are sure or not about the statement made?

The notification light flashes green if another 3DS is detected. You'll know if Streetpass has worked when you see a green circle on the Streetpass Mii icon on the menu. It's not easy to find people to Streetpass around here, but if you go somewhere like OU, KLCC or Mid Valley you might get one or two. Conventions like C2Age and Comic Fiesta also quite easy to find~
