guys, want to ask you something about 3DS prepaid card, I bought the $20 3DS prepaid card from play-asia.com, but when I redeem the code using my US 3DS set, i got an error:

Error Code: 005-5561
The activation number entered was not recognized. Please check the activation number and try again.

What does this mean? so I just wasted RM87+ is it? I'm looking forward to call Nintendo support in US tonight (our time and their business hours), but if anyone can help me on this it would be appreciate.

Maybe some wise guy at the customs already curi guna the code.

haha it bypass customs already, it was a digital purchase and got the code online.

wrong region for your console? sometimes i also headache asia console is also can play ntsc-u game. but you buy the code is for u.s. console. just 2 cent. check your box to verify.

yeah confirmed i have US set, I got point that can be registered in club.nintendo.com, and my eshop are linked with the club.nintendo account, if i really wasted the money on this, then it would be the last order from play-asia.com by me, and I will brag about it all over the internet.

Speaking of eshop, do they stock the prepaid cards over at Gamer's Hideout or anything? I recall few years ago there was one shop associated with Maxsoft that had DSi prepaid cards or something...

Otherwise maybe I'll just try to get a friend from America to buy a prepaid card and give me the code while I pay him through Paypal or something. Malaysia credit/debit card doesn't seem to work on the eshop...

the prepaid I bought from play-asia.com still cannot be use, same error, and play-asia.com never reply my email.. damm.. just wasted rm87 like that. WTF!

they will reply. sometimes it just takes 2-3 (working) days. you can also resend the same msg to them coming Monday just in case the earlier msg was missed by their customer service somehow amidst the volume of correspondence they bound to receive/process.

play-asia.com is based in Hong Kong (so you need to take note of public holidays in HK too sometimes). their working day is Monday - Friday.

i personally had encountered missing parcel (thru PosLaju) twice and they offered to send me a replacement 1:1 without any questions asked.
