We are having conflict issue regarding the SWAP & REFUND term  smile.gif

Maybe you can provide one-stop collection/swap/refund center @ your office or Royal Club like MSI did with some freebies as a compensation  cool2.gif

Actually we already practice the same policy. It's being adopted by every principal.
Let me add that notice in the thread.

I do believe that both of them is a normal employee to their respective company
but the difference is the backing of the company

The main issue usually in a forum is troubleshooting
and the B3 issue does requires a proper trouble shooting
but all I am seeing is that, though there might be good intentions and ways to solve the B3 issue
the flow down of procedure seems to deviates down line and Asus seems to have no instant feedback on this

It is not that your service is no good
It just seem lacking when comparing to others

and you cant blame/stop people from comparing as this is natural in the business world
*
mcchin, couldn't have said it better myself. And I don't expect the comparing to stop as that is essential for improvement.
As for the B3 swapping and replacing service, I will double check with the departments to see if this is being enforced enough.
Will update you all once it's clarified.

Added on April 4, 2011, 1:01 pmHi all, edited the Notice regarding the issue of waiting for B3 replacement boards. Please read the beginning of the thread.

another question, if i were to purchase those item frm ebay/amazon, will Asus Malaysia honor d RMA service shud anytg happen to the item?

The RMA policy only applies to the respective country the product was sold in officially. So let's say you bought it from eBay Malaysia, it still doesn't count because we didn't bring in that model. Only notebooks have global warranty.

QUOTE(wiraone @ Apr 5 2011, 11:28 PM)
I've problem with my newly bought p8p67 le B3 motherboard. When I shutdown my OS, the PC reboots itself after few seconds. I tried to bring it to the shop that I bought it but they claimed I bent the pin on the socket and refused to send it back for warranty. May I know if I can send it direct to distributor or Asus for fixing, the pin looks just fine for me and it could start and running okay but won't shutdown properly unless I flick the off switch. Please help.
*
Did you recently assemble your PC? When did the problem start? After making changes to the hardware?
Right now, the closest assumption I can make is that your jumper pins are configured wrong or the CMOS reset jumpers are not placed back to its default configuration. But these two problems shouldn't cause your PC to auto restart. You could also take a picture of the socket so that I can take a look.

QUOTE(lingloong @ Apr 6 2011, 04:17 AM)
TS it's better for you to liaise with your current distributor regarding the Sandy Bridge replacement issue  smile.gif

I have 2 boards for P8P67 Pro lying @ SERVEX for more than 2 weeks, still they haven't issue replacement for me. In the end I have to fork out and take new stock to replace for customer

Your current distributor very "funny", when asking for SWAP they said no-stock, but when place order got stock  whistling.gif

From my point of view, the "FLAW" for your ASUS Sandy Bridge replacement program is lack of support & commitment from BOTH of your distributor & collaboration between you guys "ASUS Msia" & your distributor

"Cakap tak serupa bikin"  sweat.gif

In the end, we reseller/dealer suffer the most  yawn.gif

*
It's terrible that you're suffering from this. This should not be tolerated and I am feeding this back to our country product manager as I type this.
We will sort this out as soon as possible. Really sorry for the inconvenience. I understand how frustrated you are.

here is my rant about asus mobo pci-e placment
i fit an asus sound card (xonar essence) in its slot and it blocks my main gpu slot, so ok nvm i use the second slot, blocking my other sata ports (highlighted in red)
hence i am limited to 3 sata ports and no x-fire possibility sleep.gif
bloody move the pci-e to the bottom, iirc gigabyte does it below gpu slots
*
At first I was going to say that you could still put your graphics card on the main PCIe x16 slot but that would be difficult since the PSU is located at the bottom. The cables won't be able to reach the sound card especially with the video card in the way.
So i would suggest the same thing chenhui mentioned below. That should solve the issue of blocking your SATA ports.

QUOTE(chenhui87 @ Apr 6 2011, 06:55 PM)

Apparently our RC liaison already told you last week that if you want to do a swap service for the Sandy Bridge motherboards, you can deal with RC centre directly instead of claiming DOA. Then you need not wait for the distributor to get back to you.

here, i'm to defend CEX case, owikh84 i'm not against you.

This is clearly Asus problem, CEX has always been a nice guy helping me to solve my problem as well as the one that handle 1 per 1 exchange to me, even thou i cause alot heck of problem to CEX.

Cex handle my case with straight just 2 days settle the exchange.

waiting for AssUs reply...
*
The fact that is was listed as RMA can only mean that the dealer sent it back to distributor instead of royal club, which isn't the protocol for the B3 swapping program. This could mean a lot of things and hence requires investigation in order not to pinpoint anyone without evidence.

QUOTE(TimKen @ Apr 9 2011, 09:38 AM)
Which one is better for gaming ? p67 sabretooth or deluxe ?
*
Games are mostly dependent on the graphics card rather than the motherboard, and since both of them uses the same chipset, the difference in performance is marginal.

QUOTE(lingloong @ Apr 9 2011, 11:38 AM)
Firstly, I don't think Asus Royal Club deal with your case. As per inform by them, normal procedure Sandy Bridge replacement program goes back to distributor, your case is SERVEX

So I think you need to track this problem back to distributor first with assistance from your current dealer/reseller. And before sending out item, it's a good practice for seller to do quick check on the item especially for postage item

I'm not here to defend Asus Royal Club, but so far my RMA/Swap either Sandy Bridge or other products is within 1 week or 1 to 1 if they got stock.

As earlier post, I'm having problem with current distributor (SERVEX) which held my 2x P8P67 Pro for 3 weeks already  doh.gif

If I know they could be this slow and inefficiency, I will send to Royal Club instead  sweat.gif

The info provided is not transparent enough. Earlier I ask Royal Club if I can direct send to them for Sandy Bridge problem, they said have to go through distributor. Now you know how your distributor works, those slowpoke never care only concentrate doing sales  vmad.gif

*
Actually, for the B3 swapping service, dealers are supposed to deal with RC directly and not distributor as mentioned to you earlier in the thread.

QUOTE(Mr.Lonely @ Apr 10 2011, 09:19 PM)
yes no news yet, i aspecting they will end up give me tons of craps reason ask me to swap instead of refund~

Already replied you. But for the benefit of all, sales return a.k.a refund is entitled to anyone with the Intel Design Chip Error.

QUOTE(scyap @ Apr 10 2011, 09:40 PM)
Hi guys i have two simple questions... ;D

The Asus P8P67 LE ... as shown in this link, does not have VRM, so it would not be able to overclock my i7 2600k properly??

and... How would i know if the mobo is not the first batch which had faulty sata ctrler?
*
By right, if your motherboard has the B3 Revision label, then it is not the faulty one. But you can check if your SATA ports are faulty by visiting this URL: http://event.asus.com/2011/mb/Identify_unaffected_SATA_port/

QUOTE(Mr.Lonely @ Apr 11 2011, 12:55 PM)
ok guys! latest news update been C zone again today! they say can refund, just send ur board in and wait =) i going to send my board in tmr, hopefully wont kena shit again .
*
Glad for you bro.

QUOTE(DarkNite @ Apr 11 2011, 08:06 PM)
Why promised open investigation? That is their problem. They should just give you a new box now.
No matter wat is the outcome of their investigation, they still have to give you a new box. Why make you wait some more and create more negative PR? Cheap just to give new box.
*
Because a system is in place to cater to the mass population. If we were to disrupt that flow of procedure, it will mess up a lot of things and most probably slow everything down even more since we need to service a lot of customers/dealers/distributors. It is therefore important to investigate the origins of the problem and resolve it to ensure that in future, end users like yourself don't suffer the same predicament. Hope you understand where I'm coming from.

Hi bro
i just came back from Asus RC with full of disappointment.
what i received is totally the same package with you.

They gave me an "almost" empty accessories box which contain 1 back plate 1 ,bluetooth module and a 3 way SLI bridge cable
while i b4 that i've contacted Asus support and they told me to send in everything including cables etc .
so i trade tons of accessories for 3 things ? c below reply from Asus_Support01@asus.com

I asked the engineer on duty if he can confirm that this is a B3 board because there's no b3 sticker on the box itself and the manufacturing date in January he said he dunno and ask me to go back and check mysely and said this is the only board they receive from Asus HQ n ask me to sign the receipt.
If i dont check the package on the spot i probably already naik kereta or actually we already naik kereta.  icon_rolleyes.gif
And this is straight from Asus not through distributor or 3rd party.

2.      Do I need to return in full package ?

Hi everyone, I have confirmed several details with top level management and let me clarify this before everyone starts biting each others heads off. tongue.gif

1) The protocol for doing a B3 swap is to pass ONLY your motherboard to the dealer for a brand new board. DO NOT include your box + accessories.

2) All boards that are swapped will be replaced by BRAND NEW motherboards WITHOUT box + accessories.

3) If you want to do a sales return a.k.a. refund, this can be done on the spot with the dealer. However, the method of refund and transaction type solely depends on the dealer.

I will add this to the beginning of this thread. If you have any more questions, feel free to PM me. And I promise you that I will make an effort to help you out.
