Q2 - What is the error you are facing when registering your product?
- serial number invalid.
There may be an error with the local database because the Vento isn't official here. Try calling our service centre - 03-2148-0827

For some reason, my ASUS GTX560 Ti DirectCU II card seems to have gone semi-faulty. I just came back home a few minutes back, and everything seemed fine until the nVidia driver kept crashing multiple times. I thought it was an issue with the latest nVidia driver ( 280.26 ) but reverting to 275.50 doesn't seem to have helped.
In fact, when it was reverted, I could see lines flickering here and there for a bit, and some blemishes on my screen's wallpaper ( a curved-line patch of green as if someone used paint and edited windows' default wallpaper ). This quite convinced me that the card has indeed gone faulty for no apparent reason.
Because the seller that I bought the GTX560 Ti from has made it clear that any warranty issue should be handled by the buyer ( me ), I am unable to send it back to him to request for a replacement card. So ASUSMY, I'd like to know where can I send the card personally for warranty before I turn to the members offering warranty services here. Please reply as fast as possible, thanks.
Right now it's working fine at the moment after I shut my system down and turned it back on rather than reboot like I did previously. But I don't want to take any chances and would like to return this card for a replacement card.
Update 1 : Looks like the card is still working fine even when being stressed by MSI Kombustor, and when running Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Left 4 Dead 2. I'll continue the testing of the card and if the issue doesn't appear again, I'll probably call off my request for a replacement card.
Update 2 ( 01 Sept ) - Looks like it was indeed an isolated incident. I'm currently suspecting something else as the source of the problem and and concluded that the card itself is totally problem-free.
Oh so if the card isn't faulty, what seems to be the problem? Have you tried using a different graphics card?

If I purchase an asus component from overseas, and it has problem, can deal with local distributor?
As components don't have global warranty, I am unafraid you can't send your product for warranty here. At least, not with the distributor. You can however, call our service centre and get them to repair it but be ready for repair charges. Here's their number - 03-2148-0827

Hi AsusMy
does asus maximus IV extreme has UEFI bios? There's confusion over the description here, on the Overview and Spec. Overview mention EFI bios, while Spec mention UEFI Bios.
Compare to P8P67 boards, UEFI Bios are featured prominently on the Overview section.
Want to know, cos i'm considering to purchase either of this (P8P67 deluxe and Maximus IV Ext). Thanks.
Yes, it does have UEFI BIOS.
