IMHO, i think the article kinda fair towards the both teams. The red card issued to pepe had changed the game. Mourinho, the coach that i respect alot, had cross over the line by making such statement and indirectly labelled him as a sore loser. I seriously hope Madrid could give their best in the upcoming legs. May the best team win for the upcoming legs.

I'll be the first to admit I didn't like that Mou decided to bunker in our half. But I understand his reasons. It's the first leg and it was more important not to concede than to score in such a game. That said I would have preferred if we had at least some sort of gameplan when we tried to attack which was non-existent really. That was the disappointing part.

OK that aside. It was a physical match but it was not as extreme like borderline violence like you make it out to be. There were no sliding challenges left, right and centre. And if you actually check the stats, Barca out-fouled us. And Barca are aggressive at winning the ball high up the pitch. It's one of the reasons why they've been so good defensively. But you don't see me whining about it. What you seem to lack to comprehend is that being physical is a legitimate tactic. It is part of football. You seem to want something different so I suggest you switch to basketball instead. Hounding refs and faking injuries to get your opponent sent off however is a downright despicable tactic.

I think I've replied to you objectively (or objectivist philosophy whatever the hell that means) and logically. Now I suggest you go back to the Barca thread where you can continue your pointless babbling. It's obvious that we disagree in our viewpoints. I only ask that you respect ours.

Thats y i think Pepe's red carded was fair not because of his action ( i do think the ref's a bit harsh on Pepe) that night, but because of the overall roughness they did. So, to retaliate, they (barca player) have to resort to exaggerating pains and even acting..

Guardiola warned to Mourinho before the game that his player wont be bullied any more..
