use MIUI-Au, its been pretty stable so far
but the latest version usually only available by Sunday

make sure you partition ext3 with whatever size you want.

also, since your phone is s-off, why not use CM7 Hboot instead?
it will give you 300MB+ internal storage.

yes, agreed!!!
best quality MIUI, always get from MIUI-au.com
if can't wait for latest release, miuiandroid.com are fastest.
MIUI XJ always not recommended at all for me, I tested before but found that mostly are unstable, lost confident.
Beside that, previously from XDA we have eevek, good rom but already inactive..
MIUI UI Moviestar, MIUI-Celebration HD, no idea...

most important I like miui-au is, instead of using most common Darktremor A2SD script. they're using own script which better for storage.
MIUI-Au A2SD script is special wrote by PClaren, better script than DT A2SD in my opinion.

download CM7 r2 of course.

the ext partition type depends on the ROM you're using, some requires ext3, some requires ext4,
but the most common one is still ext3.
MIUI Au uses ext3.

I saw from MIUI-Au.com, PClaren upload solution for CM7 r2 which is download cache will be moved to the ext partition. anyone tried?
I still using N1.....which 1 the best?

I find that as long as the ROM can fit into the system partition, CM7 R1 is still better, since data partition is bigger.
however once the ROM gets too big, then its time to move to CM7 R2

for the market download, 5MB is too small for large apps, but you can try this to fix it.
I'm using it now, basically what it does is create a "market-cache" folder to store the cache on your SD card instead of the cache partition.

CM7, or you can try Oxygen and see how it goes.
but it is tailored to fit in Oxygen ROM, so the system partition of Oxygen would probably be too small for other ROMs.

actually stil blur about how to do this

3) Flash HBOOT with your phone in fastboot mode (Back+POWER) -> 'fastboot flash hboot bravo_alphaspl.img' (change into the correct filename for the HBOOT you downloaded)
4) 'fastboot reboot-bootloader'
5) 'fastboot erase cache'

The way I do it is using ADB.
boot your phone into fastboot mode (bootloader -> fastboot) then connect it to your PC and use ADB to type in the commands.

thanks for sharing. CM7 is great for those prefer big internal memory than A2SD. 145MB for /system, which is same as N1.
so far MIUI-Au serve me well, after 150 apps/games installed, still got 75MB.

what do you mean can't get fastboot to work?
do you mean you can't boot into fastboot mode on your phone,
or do you mean you can't setup adb?

for the MIUI Au, you need to flash 2 files.

I assume you have read the important notes, if yes then just follow the installation instructions.

QUOTE
Installation instructions

If you are flashing for the FIRST time (for this release):

Download and flash the *.DX.zip and flash it first
Download and flash the latest MIUI_Au ROM zip WITHOUT REBOOTING INTO ANDROID
but you might want to wait till tomorrow since 1.6.10 is last week's release.
1.6.17 is coming tomorrow.

after you have changed your hboot you need to reflash whatever ROM you're using.
provided that the ROM is compatible with your hboot it should work.

I personally just partition my sd card from recovery, I'm using AmonRa.
