I am going to PC Fair to test the actual unit. Some how, photo doesn't do justice.

Sifoo like T.J, Lee_What etc of course la no need to go to PC Fair. They have tonnes of experience with laptop already.

Want to exchange printer and perhaps, got Ipad2 for lucky draw LOL.....hahaha, I wish tongue.gif

But, honestly, I doubt the PC Fair could give price as good as devour. He really throw price because he doesn't need to cater with expensive rent, staff salary/promoter etc. Highly recommend him (very patience, friendly and informative).

every lappy warranty is serviced by the manufacturer.... if asus means default 2 years. haha..

haha... download their brochure to see....

http://event.asus.com/my/2011/productguide...July-August.pdf

inside gt the part about their warranty..

i asked 3 shops adi.. they aso confirm this..

just that the ''catch'' is...if ur place too far frm city.... until sosososos kampung.... they might charge a fee to come....

but this... aso i think reasonable..

if other brands warranty... u still bring to those shops giv them $ to send to service center for u ah.. lolx...

True that, PC fairs doesn't mean that the laptops necessarily needs to be cheap nod.gif
Its a good place to look at all laptops from all brands at once though (apart from the girls brows.gif)

As for faults upon receiving new laptop, devour will help change new one for customers ^^

I go to these fairs, survey pricing for something I want and then go to LowYat Plaza and see if they can match the price or not.

Sifoo, what is the expected battery life for A43SV?
Pure idle (theoritical) and casual browsing with wifi on.

I am trying to justify the purchase of U41SV over A43SV. The different is approx RM650 (despite it is 7.8mm thinner and 300 gram lighter).

Thanks.

Depends on which A43Sv haha~
With WiFi on, battery saving profile, minimum brightness:
The i5 one should offer up to 4.5 hours
The i7 one should be around 3.5hours? hmm.gif

Actually, i'm thinking to get Acer 4830tg, but I worry about the quality.
Perhaps they improved alot in reliability ?
