Very nice indeed smile.gif Btw, I thought the PSU should be mounted with the fan downwards? How's the load/idle temps like?

In conclusion, are there big differences between Apogee and Fuzion?

So far I noticed immediate few degrees on difference for both idle and load ..

I'm not sure how better it could get after the thermal paste is sit in properly..

Besides I used up my MX-1 already .. so have to get a tube of MX-2 soon..

Current result:
On D-Tek
Idle 29c load 38c

On Apogee GT
Idle 34c load 44c
*
Wow, that's a 4-5 degrees drop smile.gif It's worth spending on the Fuzion then.

I'm just curious if anyone here tried out those basic water cooling kits from Thermaltake and Cooler Master. I wonder how do they perform smile.gif

if u actually read thje thread... u will notice that these two are always avoided...  i personally liek teh coolermaster r120 aquagate mini.. but thats about it.. the rest of the stuff is really crappy...
*
I understand and of course if you compare a proper WC system, these would definitely turn out less effective.
What I'd like to know is how "bad" is bad? Does it mean the R120 performs worse than Ultra Extreme for example? Is it on par, etc? These are the things and for somenoe that has used a high end air cooling and such kits, perhaps they can share their actual experiences.

Thanks irangan. The DTEK block looks very nice smile.gif It seems that people normally get Swiftech pumps (12V DC) compared to Eheim or other AC pumps already.

Normally for water cooling setup, the idle and load temp difference is rather minimal. Bad mount?

juz remounted, temp still the same, thermal paste seems spread around nicely... wondering the problem, btw, high vcore can cause such huge thermal increase?

Did you touch the water? Is it hot?

Makes sense to me since you're about 10C lower with water. I guess those chips are just simply too hot.

I responded on the other thread and yes, Core Temp reports a 10C higher temp with our E21xx

If you look at the Tjunction, it has been increased to "100".

Generally we don't really need to watercool RAM unless it's as hot as the Ballistix Tracer smile.gif

Thermochill is possible but it's really very expensive. We're paying almost double compared to a normal radiator unit biggrin.gif

Swiftech Apogee GT

Nirox P2800 Pre-modded

Swiftech MCR220-QP

Swiftech MCRES Micro
or i want buy cheap, old TT Air besar 735 then modified it?

so how? laugh.gif
*
That Apogee GT is a decent block smile.gif The problem with using Nirox pumps are that it runs on AC power.
