QUOTE(atomik @ Apr 21 2009, 04:52 PM) hell yeah...for the decent WC setup need to wait to get enough money to buy this, that, this..etc.. good stuff are not cheap.. anyway u don't have to go to the extremes if u don't do extreme OCs for benchmarking and stuff.. just a average setup will do..

QUOTE(lichyetan @ Apr 23 2009, 02:20 AM) now if wanna upgrade radiator also no space.. sommore all freakin expensive... cheapest the swiftech lo.. now using mcr220qp... go 320qp too big for me, go thermochill too expensive... same as feaser... the xspc new series that are thicker also not cheap... fesser and thermochill is worth the $$... certified by me.. almost twice the price of swiftech though..

QUOTE(Susaiput @ Jun 4 2009, 08:52 PM) @IcEMoCHa heres the pic of my heatercore...any suggestions?
woah.. thats big.. the fins kinda dense.. for the shrouds u can use a wooden plank cut 4 square holes on it and stick it to ur heatercore then screw 4 fans on it.. hmm..

QUOTE(Susaiput @ Jun 6 2009, 01:10 AM) @IcEMoCHa its not that big actually...it cant fit more than 1x12cm fan...if i use a metal shroud made from sheet metal...how do i stick the metal to the heater core? at first i thought of buying a heater core i found earlier which have perfect size for mounting 2x12cm fans...but the conditon of the item is very bad..if not... 4xFFB1212EHE... i see.. what is the dimension of it anyway?... actually u need more static pressure than airflow as the fins are dense(not sure as photo too small).. possible to fit 2x8cm fans?.. QUOTE(Susaiput @ Jun 10 2009, 10:39 PM) @IcEMoCHa i think if 2x8 can fit... @LExus65 ermmm...static pressure?im noob in this...can u xplain in more detail pls...currently ive got 2xffb1212ehe which i planned to use on the heatercore... is it statice pressure increase = cfm decrease? i tot of making a full fan shroud...cuz i saw a tutorial vid on the internet on performance shroud made for 2x12cm fans... static pressure means the pushing force.. if u use high cfm fans with low pressure to blow at ur heatercore with dense fins, then only little amount of air will go thru therefore reducing the cooling performance.. usually smaller fans with high cfm have more static pressure than big fans with huge cfm..

QUOTE(clawhammer @ Jun 19 2009, 11:45 PM) I don't see anything wrong with that setup as I used to have my dual radiator on top of my Cosmos with 2 fans blowing out from the casing. hmm.. having rads higher than ur res is it harder to bleed the air?..

QUOTE(clawhammer @ Jun 20 2009, 10:48 AM) I think it is more or less the same (since I have it in front of my Lian Li now). After a quick while and things would be fine Btw, I'm running on distilled water only, no coolant. oic.. i thought would be harder to bleed cuz the air bubbles all go up to the rad... distilled water better la.. coolant cloud the tubing easily..

QUOTE(clawhammer @ Jul 8 2009, 11:34 AM) I have been using Diamond filtered water for a very long time now and everything is perfectly fine. I've never been a fan of coolant and yes, coolant can cloud your tubings sometimes eh?... me too ... using diamond filtered water + PTnuke ..
