I'm a zerg player and on close-spawn situations, I will definitely cheese. especially to terrans.
I see on forums like gamefaqs, etc and I see a lot of complains of cheese, saying it's dirty, unfair, cheap, not sportsman-like.
But to me, I think it's just another strategy. Like, there's always a lot of things you can do to counter, like scout or counter-cheese or something, right?

What do you guys think?

I have my sc2 buddy who plays terran and he's really pissed off about the baneling bust (Which I always do to terrans), and to me, there's a lot things he can do to counter it, like putting bunkers or factory/rax behind the wall-in supply depots.

I don't think it's unfair. Learning how to counter cheese is all part and parcel of a player's ability. But it still does piss me off when someone cannon rushes me.

Cheese is not unfair, its part of the game and how u react to it. The best tip to counter cheese is to scout correctly and take notice of what ur opponent is doing.

well, cheese is to get a head start...and if u fail...most of the time, you'll be out of the game

Exactly, but from time to time, I will get BM'ed for doing it and sometimes I will get self-conscious like, am I supposed to feel guilty or something?

I actually laugh every time when I got cheesed, because it would mean an easy victory for me.

I'm just saying when you get cannon rushed, it's pretty annoying, and painful..

A highly rewarding and highly risky but still legit, i don't think it's unfair. 4 wg zealos, stalkers is fun though

cheesing is not wrong but you arnt learning the game the long way.......if you are cheesing for some entertainment, its cool but if cheesing is the only way to win the game? sorry bro, rm220 flew away.

p/s i cheese all 2 player maps on ZvZ lol cuz i hate it. i rather just get over with a paper scissors stone and get a ZvT to have some sick games.

p/s in the bro code under my bed, any strategy revolving on winning the game off 1 base is cheesing but its too hard for some guys out there so i dont expect that from everyone.
