That's a lot of wear. Mine is still at 0.00% after 4 discharge cycles.

mine is still 0.00% wear level. I never discharge until 0% of battery. I always shut off the laptop around 30% level. I think i've just bring out my laptop for twice and about the same level of discharge (>30%) and i'll turn it off.
same. nvr discharge to 0%. the least is 30%.
QUOTE(mudster @ May 9 2011, 01:01 PM)
I usually leave it on charge most of the time. Only if I am carrying it around, would I use the battery, and even then, usually at 7.4 to 10mW (IE, steam, wifi & 60% brightness).
Added on May 9, 2011, 1:01 pmAnd I've never let it drop to 0%, 30% min.
same power draw.nvr went lower than 30%. but, i do put it on battery for once a day.

QUOTE(alucard1412 @ May 9 2011, 09:53 PM)
wear level might return back to zero after you restart cuz it fluctuates...got mine(a43sv) bout 3 weeks ago, there're times it shows about 1% + wear level, but after shutting down and restarting, it goes back to 0

hurm...doesnt apply to my lappy.

no difference after restarts.
QUOTE(theanyung @ May 9 2011, 11:08 PM)
This is scary lol. I've got about 20 discharge cycles already, but wear level still at 0%.
waa...u used "scary".. im damn scary rite now.wat shud i do? shud i make an inquiry to highpoint?acer service center.
Added on May 10, 2011, 11:36 amgud news guys. regarding my somewhat "rapid" battery wear level. called highpoint juz now. told them abuot my situation n other 4830TG owners. those dat is still at 0% battery wear level, logically uses the battery rarely.in my case, i use the battery once a day. that wud explain the "rapid" wear level. discharging charging everyday. any how, they said dat, if the battery can only last for 3-4 hours (timelineX only), i can send in my unit to get the battery replaced.applies only to the 1st year of warranty. i'd say dat, i wud reach dat point in about 7 months or so.
