QUOTE(Vox @ Apr 24 2011, 01:49 AM) I understand what I'm trying to mean is. You guys say the battery wear is base on the heat. If let say I plug in cable and play for few hours and I can't take off the battery. It won't keep on charging but there's heat gathering and u can't take out. so battery wear is higher rite ? get a better air circulation or simply a good laptop cooler. btw ALL battery detiorates overtime n 80% of the time it depends on user on how heshe takes care of it . Finding perfect ones will only lead to wasting your battery ( time |

QUOTE(stuffx @ Apr 24 2011, 11:57 AM) now i have one thing that i dislike about this laptop.. there are only 2 usb ports and the ports are too close between each other.. if one port in in used, then there is no way i can attach anything to another port nope. it got 3 usb port ( 2x usb 2,0 n a usb3.0 (which is also can be use with 2.0) )and nope , even tho its close together, ive used both at the same time n it fit, maybe the slimnest giving u the illusion of "its too close" anyhoo, if im to complain about the usb port, its the tightness of it. its too tight , tightest usb port i ever encounter. maybe also bciz its new .. well tighter always better then loose i guess QUOTE(mudster @ Apr 24 2011, 09:36 PM) Just checked HDMI output to TV. If you enable TV only, then resolution can go up to 1920 x 1080. that mean its suport FHD on compatible lcd/led/plasma then perfect for blueray playback on external FHD lcd/led/plasmas |

QUOTE(Alex Chillax @ May 2 2011, 06:50 PM) Hello guys!! U41SV is a nice lappy but really ure asking in a thread of mostly people who made the right choice I already ordered Asus U41SV-WX031V. Already tested both the display set of Acer Aspire 4830TG and Asus U41SV-WX031V. I liked both actually. But then I'm afraid of the heating issues since the battery cannot cabut. So the seller told me that if battery kong then kena hantar to kilang. But the price difference is around RM300. I think of taking 4830TG so that the remaining cash i can buy cooler and what not. What do u think bout 4830TG? is it good compared to Asus U41SV? Thanks alot!! |

QUOTE(Dothan @ May 3 2011, 11:02 AM) There is an acer warranty sticker sticked on the cover edge. But I had asked before (on my previous acer laptop), it is OK to perform your own upgrade but the new RAM and HDD is not covered under Acer warranty anymore. But if you screwed the mobo during upgrading, it is not covered as well. of course Added on May 3, 2011, 11:05 am ' They can sure you had changed the RAM, because every single components has Acer part numbers. |

wow! what a spec that 5830! but yea... it also sez max batt is 4hours, my bet that is with powersmart on n yea on that mode the gt555 is probably crippled. guess something gotta give eh?
but if 5830 maintain the slimnest of x830 line then its quite a portable lil monster! |
