Hi Inachi,
I am impatient to color her too. But, I think she'll have to wait a bit to get colorized. My client wants her in black and white, and I have an upcoming possible job with a big client. Hopefully I land the job. ^^ Here's something new I did, experimenting with digital watercolor brushes. Brush with texture was made by learning Dani Draws tutorial online. Then applied to different water color splatter brushes by Danny Tang. The splatters can be easily made by scanning in watercolor strokes on artblock paper and defining them as brushes through PS. ![]() This post has been edited by demonhunter360: Jan 16 2012, 12:50 PM |

Thanks, man.
--------------------------------------- ![]() Joker commission draft. Will modify the coat to be burnt and tattered at the back edges. Left hand could be holding severed Batman head. Right arm holding short switchblade or short knife. Or maybe a chainsaw to be unconvetional and more sinister. Eyes will be read. |

Thanks, man. Since you're a graphic design/arts and design college student too....you can take a go at coloring my pieces if you like.
There is this book by ImagineFX, a special edition magazine that teaches human anatomy as well as animal anatomy. Very interesting. There are some parts of the human anatomy that they don't cover in detail, but they covered very thorougly on feet, hands, arms, legs etc. When I was a kid, I loved robots and transformers. I drew lots and lots of Transformers until a girl in class said that I could only draw robots, then I diversified into drawing humans. And since I loved superheroes and comic characters, that's how I ended up drawing them a lot. This post has been edited by demonhunter360: Jan 18 2012, 11:44 PM |

Haha, if you're talking about your own stuff as in college stuff, I know the feeling.....lots of exercise and assignments to do from college.
For me, the style of my college is to do everything in one week. It's very rushed. ---------------------------------------------------------------- I've been reading some books, while some professional artists say that you can maximize the performance of your PS by reducing the history state, some recommend that you have 20 states. The ones who say you can have little history states to undo is because "if you make that many mistakes and need to undo that many, you're not making good decisions as an artist to begin with......" oh well, that's what some say. Anyhow, this only affects those with older machines like mine. New PCs have monstrous amount of RAM and with Win7, the sky is the limit, just pop in more RAM. I'm waiting for the launch of new processors from Intel this year to capitalize on new tech and faster speeds, before I buy a new PC. ----------------------------------------------------- 6-Feb-2011 I find this review by a reader on Amazon.com best describe what I want to say about some digital artist or graphic design books and magazines. They don't really teach you anything, it says it does, but it really doesn't, most of what you get is just pages & pages of very beautiful prints of their work. QUOTE While the book and art are gorgeous, I wouldn't call it a "bible". There are simply no details in how he does his work. The back of the book even states "step by step demonstrations show you how to work with color, light, texture, and special effects in Photoshop and awe inspiring..." but his "step by step" consists of "step 1: do a sketch, step 2: refine it, step 3: refine it more", etc., until the image is done. There are no technical details such as "Here is how I draw straight lines" or "these are my brush settings" or "here is how I achieve this effect". If you are wanting to see snapshots of how he works, this book is for you. If you are wanting to learn HOW to digitally paint, then I would look elsewhere. You really need to sift out the not so helpful ones, and take only the helpful ones. I for one would not want to buy beautiful photobooks suitable for the coffee table, if I'm looking to learn step by step. ^^ This post has been edited by demonhunter360: Feb 6 2012, 07:48 PM |

This was done a long time ago. I wanted a sculptor to custom sculpt a Nina Williams for me. So I thought of drawing turn-around views of her.
I started by copying the Namco Nina Williams artwork, but then I stopped and never continued as the price of a custom statue was too expensive for me. ![]() This post has been edited by demonhunter360: Mar 10 2012, 11:47 PM |

![]() A4 sized. Watercolor and ink. I find it ironic that General Thunderbolt Ross eventually became what he hated and hunted most of his life....a hulk himself. ^^ But a bad-@$$ hulk nonetheless...combining his military experience and strategic combatant mind with the incredible strengths and invulnerability of a hulk...what a combo. |
