to anyone using Juwe's Rom here(the latest one), did u guys flash the wpa_supplicant adhoc file? i'm thinking to try it with my stock xxjvk, but kinda scared pula if something goes wrong.

edit 1 : the file seems okay with stock XXJVK. can detect my ad-hoc wireless from my laptop.

edit 2 : the tweaks from newest 2.9 CF-root makes my stock JVK flyin smooth smehow. hehehe

guys...for better gps performance..which modem i should use...JVE or JVK?..
*
JVK i can say its better. before this, never get lock so easily using JPY or JPP modem, then using JVK can lock GPS already in egypt (poor gps reception in here tho.) but must have data lah baru okay.

the highest ever battery life from my user experience with JVK = 1 day 16 hours something. not really heavy in browsing lah, but still the battery life much better compare to darkyy.

How to get root with XXJVK,does we should downgrade the bootloader using "sbl.bin" of zsjpj?
*
search CF-root in xda, and find the latest one for XXJVK. just flash it with Odin, and voila ur JVK is rooted.

not to mention I even tried gingerbread and Damian's undervolt kernel.no use at all =(
*
hrmm. make sure you clear memory in task manager everytime u left your phone overnight. or maybe be patience about the battery cycle. my battery life used to drain so much when im just flash the JVK, but then after 3-4 days its normal again.

is it a must to use the cm7 kernel oni for the miui rom?
*
yep, because miui is based on cm7 which is 2.3.3 , unless official GB is already comes out for us. and if im not mistaken, the zacharias kernel for miui is the most stable one for miui atm. smile.gif

off-topic : just peeking around in Desire HD thread just now and they're enjoying the MIUI so much tho. wah so jealous oh~

Hmm. Installed XXJVK on my phone, using the online kitchen, everything works well! But for one thing >_>, seems like my status bar is missing LOL ! T_T Anyone have a fix for this? If not I'll try to go to JS8.

edit: there's FC on my status bar when I restart the phone! T_T
*
try to factory reset, wipe dalvik cache and try to reboot your phone back. mine also flash to stock xxjvk but doesnt have this problem.

hi all. i am new here. just bought my sgs for the past 2 days. so im looking for this ROM that can be used daily (low battery usage), and might dungeon defenders smoothly. anyone can suggest me any ROM? im currently flashing my sgs with Simply Honey.
*
hello, welcome to the club. well, atm for the rom you're choosing, i think it's the best for custom froyo rom compare to stock and other rom like Doc's or Darky. try to give your phone a full charge cycle for a few time and see if the battery life improve or not.
