QUOTE(banji @ Mar 22 2011, 10:02 PM) great!! just checked the list and found one that is almost the same as my current one when u flash the radio the U will most probably be there xD..its a kinda weird thing, after flashing u'll get slightly different wordings of the radio- October 2010: Radio_12.28b.60.140e_26.03.02.26_M - HTC WWE 1.32.405.6 slightly different here - **.140eU** from the xda thread, the radio is definitely the same, just the protocol is slightly different. will it be ok? |

I'm still fine tuning the phone. A lot to experiment such as the recommended radio, setcpu and the lot to get the best battery life.
However speaking based on today's usage. - roughly 45 minutes of call - wifi on for about 5 hours overall - mobile data - a few minutes only My battery is at 40% after 18 hours I'm not that impressed yet |

QUOTE(m a v 3 r i c k @ Mar 22 2011, 10:17 PM) polarbearz and banji, the bold part, 1 fully charged also not enough actually. How long can you guys' battery last? I'm a heavy surfer using my phone during working hours. On average, I surf about 4-5hours daily with full time on messenger. Plan to fully utilize the GPS too but the battery drains just too darn fast, before i reach my destination already left 50%. Sad case like this, need to buy battery booster or something.. @billy if go meet him, teach him a lesson.. |

EternalC,
I have a car charger and also extra portable charger. But the thing is, I always travel frequent short distances...kinda like not much difference if charge for 15mins or so. Billy, I've considered battery pack too but kinda doesnt solve the phone consume too much power issue. I read some posts here saying that those flashed their rom ended up with pretty good battery life. I dont believe in gaining something without sacrificing another...so those flashed their rom and got better battery life, what stuff did u guys gotta sacrifice? display quality? lag? Sorry, again, I'm a super noob here. |

I will give the recommended radio a go. A lot of mixed feedback, it just make me more curious to test it myself. |

@mave
we flashed ROM coz it provide a better batt life than stock, yes indeed, but not to the extend that it can endure such a heavy usage u know. the power issue comes becoz of the heavy usage, thats why =) so u sacrifice ur heavy usage and u gain longer batt life sacrifice longer batt life and u gain heavy usage..lol |

EternalC,
Hahahah...but I read somemore that some of them can actually survive 48hours. I doubt mine can even survive that with just standby (but 3G ON all the time). Roughly how many % battery life improvement after flashing? Also will the phone feels smoother? Mine kinda lags at times (not that I'm complaining, its still much faster than my old school E90) Added on March 22, 2011, 10:34 pmsyuki, meaning flashing rom is all gain and nothing to lose at all? now thats something I should be doing! of course.... that's because they (dev) want users keep getting satisfaction / speed / performance / extended battery life. and of course with custom ROM, they'll remove all crap and useless stock app and tweak the ROM to the max. know what i mean..? P/S: somemore, you'll get "all-access-pass" for your phone i.e you can download apps that Stock ROM cannot download / use.. (ShootMe, SetCPU, many more) QUOTE(billy_overheat @ Mar 22 2011, 10:36 PM) ow, of course.. my pleasure billy.. where's aeron..? This post has been edited by syuki: Mar 22 2011, 10:50 PM |
