from the xda thread, the radio is definitely the same, just the protocol is slightly different. will it be ok?

Just wanna ask sifus here...are the guidelines at page 1 sufficient to guide a noob to flash rom?
Seriously I know nothing about flashing/rooting and stuff.
Never done it before.
Cant stand my battery life already...everyday have to charge 2-3 times.
Or anyone willing to be my personal sifu? XD

How long can you guys' battery last?
I'm a heavy surfer using my phone during working hours.
On average, I surf about 4-5hours daily with full time on messenger.
Plan to fully utilize the GPS too but the battery drains just too darn fast, before i reach my destination already left 50%.
Sad case

heavy usage ussually means heavy juice consumption
why not buy a portable/car charger or an extra batt?

for batt pack, i seriously suggesting mipow's one with 6600maH.
